Hi sponsors and sponsored, hope you are reunited soon,

I am sponsoring my parents, currently I am a full time student of French, under MICC program.
My spouse works full time in a good paying job, and willing to co-sign.
Can I sponsor my parents if I am receiving student assitance from MICC (is it considered social assitance? and disqualifymy application?)

If it does what course of action do you suggest?

If you are talking about having paid the reduced rates to take French classes, I don't think that is "social assistance," but I would suggest calling the CIC and/or the MICC just to be sure. The MICC contact information is here:
