Dear All,

I applied under 1122 category last year and i I got the application back few days back.
I have checked and it seems I also qualify for the quebec skilled immigration category.  I'm thinking of applying through that route. What do you suggest should I wait till July and then apply again under Federal skilled worker category? Or should I apply now under Quebec?

If I apply through Quebec and then I suspect my application would have been moved to some distance by July this year.

Also since it seems there are many people who have got the application back this year the Will be filled even earlier than seventh of July.
And it is likely that even if I send my application in June and I may still be unlucky and miss out on another year.
I would have ideally preferred the Federal skilled worker category as I know no French. And also I need just the minimum qualification points for the Quebec category. But the good news is that I still qualify because of my 7.5 score in IELTS examination.

I am thinking that I apply now through Quebec and I hope by June I will get some information as to my application is going ahead or not depending on the I would apply under Federal skilled worker category also.

What do you think? Thank you

You can apply to Quebec if you qualify...it doesn't matter the number of applications, its all about your money to follow them up. And the goodnews is that you can stop any of them anytime but you might have to forfeit the money depending on the stage.
But check properly to see if you really qualify for Quebec, because, Quebec is kind of tricky selections when you are counting your points.
Goodluck in your process.
