Hi all,

Can some wonderful person please help us out? My partner applied through Quebec (CSQ+FSW) to immigrate to Canada, it is almost complete. I am already a resident of Canada and we both want to live in Vancouver as i have just got a job there. We did consider Montreal first. Can my partner land in Vancouver ok without problems and apply for the PR card and SIN card in Vancouver, ie like normal?

Will the PR card have something to indicate on it that the person is Quebec processed?

We have heard of problems of late with people being denied and restricted to Quebec for a certain time...years. I understand the SIN card numbers vary, the first digit based on regions of Canada, can this stop someone from getting employment?

Any clarification would be great.
thanks all.
