Hi,
I am glad I found this forum. It has many knowledgeable topics on Immigration procedures.
I also have one query.
Yesterday I received a letter from Quebec Immigration stating that my file has been moved to Hong kong because I didn't meet a few administrative requirements from the government. Now my question is How much time does the HK office take to contact you back and for interview??
I think had they wanted to reject my application they would have done so..but instead they shifted it to HK so I have little hope.
Please reply soon.

I had actually applied from Montreal office as I am in Canada right now so they have transferred my file to Hong Kong....Now I was just wondering how much time would they take? On the website they say they are checking in sept 2010 applications..I applied in Sept 2010....But I am confused..I don't want to go to HK for an interview...Man...thats gonna cost money which I don't have...

i think u have not stayed in canada more than one year ..and ur home country is under BIQ Hong Kong!!... so dont think you can say tht your file will not be rejected!!...the thing i want to say is dont take any conclusion...they(BIQ HK) will assess ur file n will let u know!!... n i guess if they call u for an interview to hong kong.... u have to go no choice!!... u might cancel it( u can do it only once and not recommended)...so weigh ur options
