Quebec Immigration - what stream of education do the kids have to follow?

We are planning to immigrate to Quebec - Permanent worker.

Are our kids supposed to take up schooling in French medium? My eldest has started schooling already in English.  Is there a possibility for her to go to a school with English as medium of instruction and learn French alongside?

French is the official language of Quebec.  Children of immigrants, regardless of their mother tongue, are usually required to attend a local school under the French school board until the end of secondary school.
