I recommend you fill out the online evaluation through the Govt of Quebec website. Here is the link. http://www.form.services.micc.gouv.qc.ca/epi/index.jsp?languageCode=enIf you enter all information truthfully and receive a positive outcome you will have nothing to worry about. Good luck!

Hi,
I noticed that your interview was waived, can you advise if you know the reason for the same. I am starting my Quebec application procedure and would like to submit all the documents that can get an interview waiver ( if at all it happened due to some additional detailed documents).

Not sure how or why my interview got waived. I have been working in Montreal on a work permit in a field that is in demand...may be the fact that i was already in Quebec and also had a job helped me get the interview waiver.

Did you do the online pre evaluation test? I think you can qualify, but you need to speak some french too!

Hello,
I am thinking about applying for Quebec but the information given on different websites is quite confusing. I filled out the evaluation form on official website of Quebec and got positive response but I am unsure about couple of things.
My total years of full-time of education are 16 years and I hold MBA (1 year). But in evaluation form, Nothing was mentioned about Masters so I put myself as a holder of Post-graduate Diploma.
I don't have Bachelors degree as I am from UK and I have done two levels professional qualification CIMA before MBA. The duration was almost 2.5 years. When it comes to ' Areas of Training' can I put myself for category (Business Management DCS-3 years)?
I will really appreciate your views on this matter.

It doesn't matter if you have bachelor or masters, you will get the same points. If you can prove your area of training as Business Management, then start preparing your application. But do not forget that Business Management will be recognized as priority only if your diploma as obtained in college (3 years of study), if its university degree (ba or ma) I believe they wont count it. Also what is your french level?

Thanks for responding. I am thinking about taking some french course. Does anybody know how many hours of course from Alliance Francais would be required to get to basic level of french with no prior command over french.

Well, call them and ask how many hours you need to take to cover level B2 in TEFAQ. I know that if you present a result from TCFAQ or TEFAQ you might skip the interview. Anyways most of the people I know that people who have been on an interview are around B2 level, this is considered as intermediate level.

I wish it could, but I dont think so. When you look at the list with preferred areas of training Business Management is under the collage graduate diploma. My husband has 3+ years work experience in business development management, but this wasn't considered as priority while they reviewed our file.

As long as you hold your master degree, have work experience more than 1 year, be under 35 and have good french you will qualify.

Shahi, you will be fine! Work on your french while waiting to be called for an interview, just in case, because you can always get more points for it on the interview.
