Please help us with this information. Our local municipality in India can not issue Birth Certificate for people born before 1972. However, My wife would be the principal applicant and she has her Birth Certificate.Since I was born before 1972, can I enclose declaration from First Class Magistrate besides, my accademic  certificates etc where my date of birth is written.

Your advice will be highly appreciated

Hi,

I have a question about the type of work certificates required. Is it similar to the letter of reference they ask for in the Federal Skilled Worker program.

Also, if you cannot get a work certificate from the company currently working for, what can you provide? Would employment contracts suffice?

Thanks,

Vishal

Work certificate should be in company's letter head and should indicate the tenure of your service and all the responsibilities you have had in that particular company.
If you can not get a work certificate from the company you are working now then the job offer letter , 6 months salary slips and whichever letter to indicate that you are employed will suffice hopefully.

Good luck

Thank you, how about just the employment contract? We don't have payslips out here in the UAE, maybe bank statements showing salary transfer instead?

 @ funkdakarma,

Whatever I had written was the minimum proof that you could show that your are employed or having work experience, now you should try to find out what could proof your employment and work experience in order to provide it to BIQ.

Good luck

Hi experts,

A few questions coming from a potential applicant in Dubai:

-Now that the office handling Middle East applications has moved to Montreal, where is the interview likely to take place?
-They say that the TEF or TCF speeds up your application..........does anyone know by how much?

Thanks,

Hi

MY documents reached Bureau in Hong Kong, I am waiting for my aor.

Receiving aor means I have passed first step of evaluation and I have to go for second step (Interview) ?

What about maximum time I have to wait for aor?

Next stage is AOR , receiving AOR doesn't mean you have passed the first step of evaluation , After you are receiving AOR they will go through your application and supporting documents and if anything is missing then you will ask you to send it. So if your AOT is in the demand list then they will let you know about its results in 3-4 months otherwise as per the current timeliness it may take upto 1 year. So start learning french and never think about its results if your AOT is not in demand list because the processing timing has lengthened considerably.

From BIQ Hk AOR doesn't take more than 1 and Half month.

Good luck
