Well, Not right now but I will be applying for the same within a week or two.

Just a suggestion: If your friend does not have any intention to settle in Quebec then ask him not to apply thorough this program. Because ultimately he will now have to learn French and show his intention to settle in Quebec.

Its better if he apply through some other PNP Program or any other which he Qualify for.

Let me know if you have any other questions regarding QSW.

Hi abhisri200k,

thanks for your quick response. My friend is asking this so that is why I have posted this question, since I am not familiar with Quebec rules that much. When it comes to me, I am planning to go to Alberta in June through IEC program. Smiley  I don't speak a word of French.

Are you already in the process for Quebec?

1st >> Its not against law. But you will have to sign a kind of an agreement/form in which you will agree to show your intention to permanently reside in any part of the Quebec.
(And If you don't sign the agreement/form then you are not eligible for the QSW program)

2nd >> If you do want to move to some other state, It can be done, but you will have to show that you tried everything to settle in Quebec. And you must be able to support if when asked.

AND

3nd >> If you do move to some other state, then it will effect you Citizenship.

4th >> Why you are trying for the Quebec if you don't have any intention to settle. why don't you try some other program ?

See what the visa officer want is -You should have in depth knowledge of the area and job market before you land. once you land you have to search each and every possibility of settling down in Quebec no matter what legally  Smiley . then in the least case  if nothing works out after many job trials,if  you receive any offer outside the Quebec then you should be able to prove it in your visa extension or while getting Canadian passport.(it will be difficult to justify unless it is really genuine situation )

Always settling down in Quebec would be an advantage. because they will be there for your support as they bought you to Quebec.
1. SO make up your mind where to stay within Quebec.
2. Search for job in your area
3. How your going to integrate in to the culture and place
4. Learn french atleast 2 to 3 months --- least
5. prepare for interview
6.Be confident.

Hello Friends,

I am planning to apply for Quebec Immigration soon and got some strange questions in my mind. If I get the visa does that mean that I have to leave in Quebec or can leave any part of Canada?. Does that will affect the Citizenship processing if we come under Quebec category and living in some other part of Canada other than Quebec.

I know that I am thinking far ahead but would like to know all the possibilities before starting this.

Thanks,
NAX

On obtaining your PR, you could work and live in any part of Canada as you deem right

thanks
Abhishek

Hi Ambi & MKshah,
Please tell me whether I can apply for Quebec or not right now ? It is becoming confusing for me.
Please please reply.
Thanks
Abhishek

[Hi senior members,
My wife has 14 months of experience (July 2007 to September 2008). I was not writing his experience as it is having no points. That's good, to claim point for your AOT then never mind u r principal applicant or not, your degree must not be older then 5 year old or u have atleast 1 year experience in your education field.
I think to work for atleast one out of 5 years is valid only for principal applicant. Please help on my total number of points.

Thanks
Abhishek Sharma

hi ambi,
He will not get points for french A1 or A2, since he has not scored 16 out of 25 in listening or speaking as per new rules.

Also u given 3+3 points for his spouse education, but he mentiioned that his spouse is having no work experience, so pls check this points again.
I have a doubt here that he is not reaching to 57 points.
