With the new rule in place, is their any change in point system or rule other thn language doc submission?

There are no changes in the point system just yet. I think they've just made it more clear the corresponding points that will be awarded for every french level or IELTS band score. From what I've heard they'll change the requirements scheduled for next year concerning the minimum french language knowledge of the applicant and the QSW being downgraded to work permit and not permanent residency. Again those are just discussions and are not yet finalized so who knows what the changes would be when October 2012 comes.

Dear All, Sharing some good news about jobs in Quebec  

Quebec is the leader in job

   Quebec had the best performance in all of North America in terms of job creation. While jobs were lost in other parts of Canada during the month of September, more than 14,000 new jobs were created in Quebec. Since June 2009, more than 125,000 jobs have been created in Quebec, which means Quebec has created almost twice as many new jobs as were lost in the recession of 2008-2009.

Housing starts increased in September, another good indication of the strength of the economy in Quebec. Multi-unit construction, such as condos and apartment buildings, rose more than 25% compared to September of last year.

Economic diversification is another reason Quebec has performed better than any other jurisdiction in North America during the recent downturn. The economy is Quebec does not rely on any one sector or industry.

The unemployment rate in Quebec dropped to 7.7% in September from 8.2%.

The overall unemployment rate in Canada is projected to remain around 8%.

Hi. Are u sure about this? I called biq hk yesterday and the lady told me that they dont have interview plans  for 2012.I am not sure if it is true.I tried to email them and still waiting for their reply for clarification.

I only guessed based on the fact that all countries are getting their turn after 12 months and i have seen they were no interview conducted in 2010 for New Delhi. (I am not sure if they were any if missed correct me)

so at least this time we might be in the first quarter 2011 since we were waiting for a while now. this was my point. so guys don't jump out of your seats. Chill.
