Hi StillHope. Thanks for all your timely advice. I am really confused now the country where I am residing now conducts A1/A2 only in January and May. However, they do have TCF exams 4 times a year. What would you recommend. Is TCF easier compared to A1/A2. Clearing TCF how much can one score like A1=2, A2=4. Please advice. How many levels or hours I need to complete in order to appear for TCF.

Thank you Stillhope and Harit79,

We applied from Ireland to Paris. (We are both Irish so English is our first language) Area of training is Bachelor of Business Studies with Accounting.

We both studied french for three years in Secondary school and provided proof of that. We also both took TCFaQ where we got a combination of B1s and A2s.

We did not have an interview we just received csq in post today. Last communication with BIQ was in April to sign a form for profession and than nothing until today.

The code on the CSQ is 130, I don't know if that means anything...

Hi,
Pls help me.

I calculated my points including spouse points and points for financial self-sufficiancy and it comes to total 51 points as of now, so what should I do?

I have enrolled myself for A1 level course at Alliance Francaise, but as of now I have very little knowledge of french.

so what do you suggest...In this situation, should I send my application? or first complete a level in french and then put my application?

Will they accept my application for processing, if I apply now?

Also suggest how I can learn french to A2 level within 6 months? any tips, books, any links will surely help.. Smiley

Dear b.indiano

I agree with Stillhope as i believe too that you should concentrate urself on getting some French which would certainly allow you to score 57 pts or above. Unless you get the minimum 57pts prior application you might not get CSQ and no one can tell for sure if they'll accept your application for processing.

So, register in French school and clear the first level cause I really doubt you'll make it otherwise.

Guys,

I do not have much information about TEFaQ. Currently, I am enrolled in Intermediate Level in AF at Delhi.
I asked about TEF at AF and got to know that mandatory exam costs around Rs. 6500, and two optional exams costs Rs. 1500 each. The next available schedule in Delhi is Dec'11.

But, I think we can only give TEFaQ or TCFaQ for CSQ.
Will get more information on these and share the same.

StillHope / Quebec2011,
Can you provide some information in this regard? Thanks..

Try to send all your relevant documents in one shot , that is true that later they will ask you to send those documents but I should really say this to you that it will delay the process of your application.

Good luck
