My dear friend quebec2011,

I gave these points intentionally.

  @   stillhope,

Ielts 6 band has 4 points or 5 pointsi gave him roughly because he didn't mentioned how many points he scored indvidually but as per guide lines if u have 3.5-6 and 4-6 in listening and speaking then u will get 2 point each so total 4 point if he score more than 6.5 then he will get more points so i think u got it know?

And don't forget 1 point for Financial self sufficiency.i know because he didnt write down there thats why i didnt give him Grin

i am sending u the guide which helps to calculate the points

 @ quebec2011
Thanks, fellas! I have a couple of questions to ask, quick response would be appreciated

1.Will notarizing photocopies of all the required documents suffice?Or do I have send my educational docs photocopies to Ministry of Education?

As the site says:All copies of the documents indicated below must be authenticated by the institution which holds the original or by the legal authority duly authorized to certify as true a copy of a document, that is, a copy of an original that can be traced
This stands true for educational docs, where wud one certify other personal docs like ID card, domicile, etc?

2.How can I make new friends there paritcularly from my background? These networking sites are a total spam these days! I am even willing to help him/her apply, but no one really responds

Friends,

Very very thanks for your supports. Friends which is better first I passed the delf a1 test of french then apply or enroll to AF for learning french.

Once again thanks,

I got 6 points in listening and 6.5 in speaking. Financial self sufficiency not a problem.

Hi STILLHOPE

I just to know two important aspects from you or from any seniors who have applied in this category.

1. What other documents can prove language proficiency in English other than IELTS, TOEFL etc in order to score 6. My medium of learning through out my academic and work career was only English.

2. Similarly can I score point just enclosing the enrolment slip  with Alliance de Francaise and ticking the high beginner box in the application though I really have the intention to learn the language once selected for  QSC. If selected for interview, by that time, I will be able to speak a better french offcourse

Hi STILLHOPE

I just to know two important aspects from you or from any seniors who have applied in this category.

1. What other documents can prove language proficiency in English other than IELTS, TOEFL etc in order to score 6. My medium of learning through out my academic and work career was only English. As per english language proficiency you can send one self statement where u can mention e.g that u start learning english from class 1st and u studied till masters and mode of instruction was english in your whole education. 2nd u can take a letter from your university / collage letter head that all subjects was taught in english. 3rd u can take a letter from your employer that 1st language of communication in your work place is english. So u can arrange any 2 things is sufficient.

2. Similarly can I score point just enclosing the enrolment slip  NO, U can score with documentry proof like delf, tefaq certificates. with receipts this shows that u r really doing efforts to learn french so that is good for your application.with Alliance de Francaise and ticking the high beginner box in the application though I really have the intention to learn the language once selected for  QSC. If selected for interview, by that time, I will be able to speak a better french offcourse Try to put minimum if u score enough points because if u tick high level and at the time of interview u didnt score that level then it create problem for your application. but if u tick minimum level and at the time of interview your level go up as selected in your form that make very positive impact on your application and another thing u can give exam when u finish levels and send them to embassy to update your file

So i hope this helps u.

Can anybody please help me

I have done my bachelors degree in hotel and tourism management (specialised in food and beverage service)3 years course in India, And i have 4 years wor experience in food & beverage services from two five star hotels in Mumbai. i have seen food & beverage service 1 year diploma get 6 point ,but no points for bachelors degree.

Do you think they will consider my specialisation in degree will consider as equivalent to diploma as I have done food & beverage services all 3 years of my degree and did 6 months industrial training in this field as well.

Your advice would be appreciable. Many thanks. hope your reply.
