Stillhope (or anybody willing to help)

can i send a bankers cheque with my application to paris?

two, my employment agreement which lists my duties, was only signed by me and not the employer (there was nowhere for the employer to sign). i've noticed on the website they say the document that lists your duties has to be signed by the employer. what do i do? my employer is not going to give me a letter listing my duties as i have gone thro' hell asking him to write me one confirming i'm working with them. maybe they think you are looking for another job and they don't want to provide you with this letter because of that!! tell them it is specifically for immigration !! both these (letter and agreement) are on company letterhead and the letter is signed. can i attach them and send them together. will they ask me for another list of duties that is signed by the employer? most probably they will because this is one of the essential papers that prove your experience i'm confused and would appreciate some assistance. thanks

Hi dez,
I actually haven't answered that part because I don't know:) and my visa office is not Paris.. But I suggest you go by the common method which is Bank draft.. Wait for other members who have sent their files to Paris office to give you a proper answer to that..

I still have not submitted my application yet, hopefully by next week.. So I am not sure about the cover letter honestly, I am not sure if it is even required !

Good Luck dez

Thanks ambi and osama. Ambi, have you got an AOR yet or it's still early. I think I'll do the bankers draft. Thanks

Osama, yes it's true the covering letter is not mandatory. Just wanted to explain one or two things in there. I'm also thinking of sending my application either tomorrow or saturday unless i discover there's something i'm still missing. good luck

Hello Ashwin,

If you clear DELF A1 you will get 2 point and 6 point if you clear DELF A2.
Actually more level you will clear better for you, it will help you in interview and once you land in Quebec it will easy for you get the job as well.

Hi guys.

Can someone help me with question # 8 on the application form asking if you've ever applied for temporary residence to canada. Does 'temporary residence' include student visa applications? if this is so, would one then put the province where the university is as where they applied to? i find this question confusing. any help?

2. Ambi, Osama or anyone....how do you draw the bank draft? What info do I need ( I'm sending my application to paris).

Yes it does if this is so, would one then put the province where the university is as where they applied to? Yes, you need to put the province where you studied, this was also my case.. i find this question confusing. any help?

2. Ambi, Osama or anyone....how do you draw the bank draft? What info do I need ( I'm sending my application to paris). It must made payable to the Ministre des Finances du Québec and must include, on the reverse side, the name of the applicant in block letters. http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/fr/biq/paris/dcs-travailleurs/frais/index.html

Let me you if you need more clarifications

Good luck Smiley
