1. french is must or not                                    french is a must if you're planning to live in quebec , other than that it depends on your points.
2. minimum time limit in Quebec                                 didn't get that question..
3. how much points are required for husband and wife   57 points
4. interview calls are in french or English                     the interview is in both language but it's mostly french.

can u give me proper answer about this

Yes, French is a must if you really want to live in Quebec.
57 points will be needed to get an interview call without the adaptability points.
63 points are needed after the interview including the 6 adaptability points.
Interview depends, If you still score good marks and you have a poor level of French, it can be conducted in English. But remember French is also a factor to check your commitment with Quebec.

I hope that helps.

Note: Adaptability points are in the hand of BIQ Officer so its totally up to him/her how much he/she awards you.

1. its possible, but risky. ielts is asked for, but if u get a letter from the university that your education was in english & another 1 from ur employer that the lang used at work was english... then its possible to avoid ielts.
2. 1 year for interview call. now the queue is getting longer. but since ur a nurse, then its priority. so 6-8 months for interview call.
3. spouse gets points for french. want more points ? learn french.
4. when you apply, you sign a doc stating that you will settle in quebec. if you scoot to another province after you land, the govt reserves the right to revoke your PR. coz its immigration fraud. but you also have the freedom to go anywhere if you dont get a job for a long time. you will have to prove your efforts made to settle in quebec. after you get ur citizenship, you are not bound by anything (as per another post)

Hey vibez_well,

You seem very knowledgeable about the Quebec immigration process. I have one question that my sound like a repeat, but I am simply not sure.

Me and my spouse will apply together. she is a registered nurse in the US and will be principal applicant. she has both her IELTS and French tests and scored high on both. I work in the US and finished school here.

We counted points and have at least 65 without any possible adaptability points. I also speak French pretty well, but I saw that the number of points they give for spouse's French is very low and frankly we don't need them.

Everybody says I can apply without French score and submit later. Can I simply subscribe without and write a letter in french explaining how difficult and time consuming it is to get  french test in the US? It costs like $200 and I have to wait months to have the test and then the score...

Thanks for ur input!
