Hi Seniors,
              I  planed for FSW under 7242- Industrial Electrician , due to my qualification (13 year)i got  64 point , so that i am planing to apply through Quebec. I add my back ground detail pls give me the Point i scored?

Till i didnt apply for IELTS & French , after my basic point how much i need to take in IELTS & French to get qualifed?

1) Qualification - Diploma In Electronic and communication enginner - 13 year of full studey-  __ points

    Area of training - I don't know where I belong from AOT lists. __ points


2) Age – 35years old - __ points

3) Work Exp - 15years (as Industrial Electician and Instrumentation Technician)) - __ points

4) Language - IELTS (will take) - 0
     French - will be enrolling to claim points - o

5) 2 kids (year 8 old & 15month old) total - __ points


6) No relative in Quebec - 0

7) Funds no problem- 1 point

My spouse details are as follows,
1) Age – 3 2 -  __ points



2) Qualification - Bsc Graduate – 2001 - total 15years  - __ points


3) French - Not done.
4) No relative in Quebec -0

You will be fine, and will be granted your CSQ....look back a couple pages in this blog, I indicated all the information you will need to know for the interview.  I think its on page 649 or 650

I got csq today in Paris.

The interview was based on the application form. First, we talked about my education and experience and the interviewer examined originals. Then she asked me questions about adaptability e.g. Why Quebec? Why Montreal? What kind of jobs you will look for? What are the social values of Quebec? How many companies in your field are there in Quebec?
The interviewer may also doubt your documents. She was wondering why my experience is not related to my degree and whether I am qualified to do the job. I calmly explained that this profession is not authorized in my country as strictly as in Quebec and she agreed.

The interviewer was typing answers most of the time which allows you to relax and concentrate on your discourse.

The interview was all in French except one sentence to verify my English.

I did not have test results with me as it was not mandatory when I applied in march 2011.

Congrats for crossing one more and the most significant step towards your goal.
You mentioned your interview was in French predominantly, I have a question here, did you request the interview to be in French or English in the application form?

I have requested for English, I wish my interview to be the other way round ie most part in English and less of French.

Thank you very much for your congrats.
There was no request of the language in my application, but it was probably obvious to the interviewer that I wanted a French interview since I had insufficient points without French and no test results. It was absolutely important for me to impress her with French. She started in French and I continued. I spent there three hours today and noticed that tne interviewer starts in French and then switches to English if she notices that the candidate has difficulty.

The biggest concern that I had was that she will ask me to come back after sitting test, but luckily she did not.

The news for me is:

 " Address disappeared on 27.01.2012"
Except  this My status changed from RBVO to In Process and a line was added to status saying " We started processing your application on 24.01.2012"

Still address is missing.
I am hoping for the MR to come these days as the address is still missing!
