yes i have already seen it, but my question is, where it's written that people who get 5 or 6 or 7 marks fetch 0 point. i am sure it's not written in guide. guide was updated on september in which delf 16/25 rule was first written in guide. you can see, it was clearly mentioned in sept update, lower than 16 marks fetch points of lower level but it was not written about 8 to 15 marks. In december update, they have just written that rule inside the table. that's it.

In december update, they have just written that rule inside the table. that's it. hi coolguy001, you overlooked this table.. pls read inside the table.... B2 DALF C1 : de 8 à 15 sur 25 6 3 it is mentioned here.... DELF B2 : au moins 16 sur 25
B1 DELF B2 : de 8 à 15 sur 25 4 2 DELF B1 : au moins 16 sur 25 say B2 exam, if you receive score below 8 to 15 then you will be given points for B1, and for score 16 or above, you will get points for B2... surely passing score for each section is 5 marks and overall passing score is 50 for all DELF/DALF exam levels. Also keep in mind, for QSW, we need to see scores for listening and speaking only for points consideration. @ coolguy001, pls refer to the table of points for language proficiency as per new rules post dec 6, 2011 : just have a close look in the table for francaise for each level:

How many photo we have to put in file? and what is size or specimen for the photo and where to stick it in file? Hi janki, if you are applying for federal part after receiving CSQ, you should see Appendix A: photo specifications.
for number of photos for federal part: pls see point number 15 of the file from this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5690E.pdf you can also follow the same instructions if applying for CSQ.

suppose if a guy gets 7 marks in listening in delf b1 so his A2 score in listening will be referrred for giving points... and he already has 16 marks in listening in a2, he will get 3 points for score above 16 then what points he get.... 0 point( he got 7 marks in b1)? u misunderstood it, he will not get points for that particular level, but surely his lower level scores will be refered to it means he gets points in speaking module only then what's the use of getting 16 marks in a2 .. ...strange... the cycle breaks if they don't give point in listening ... and even there is no logic in it.

Hi,
Can someone please tell me what are the minimum IELTS score bands in each field to get FULL points for English proficiency? As a fluent English speaker, should I assume I will get full points for it?
P.S. This site mentions the following but it's not for Quebec but the Federal Program:
The four sections of the IELTS (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) are measured on a Band Score system from 1-9. To receive the maximum number of points for English language ability on a Federal Skilled Worker application, applicants who are required to take the IELTS, must obtain a Band score of 7.5 or higher in the Listening component and a 6.5 or higher in the other three components.

It is cleared mentioned in this table as: Exam Level cosidered for awarding Points for Level points based on score PA Spouse C2* DALF C2 : au moins 32 sur 50 à l'épreuve orale** 8 3
C1 DALF C2 : au moins 16 sur 50 à l'épreuve orale 8 3 DALF C1 : au moins 16 sur 25
B2 DALF C1 : de 8 à 15 sur 25 6 3 DELF B2 : au moins 16 sur 25
B1 DELF B2 : de 8 à 15 sur 25 4 2 DELF B1 : au moins 16 sur 25
A2 DELF B1 : de 8 à 15 sur 25 3 1 DELF A2 : au moins 16 sur 25
A1 DELF A2 : de 8 à 15 sur 25 1 1 DELF A1 : au moins 16 sur 25 Hey, for single applicant, A2 only gives 3 points?? I thought it's 6 points? On this website, it says something else, see below. Also, why does C2 give 8 points instead of 16 which is the maximum?? I'm lost! French Language French Proficiency Low Beginner High Beginner Low Intermediate High Intermediate Advanced Listening 1 point 3 points 4 points 6 points 8 points Speaking 1 point 3 points 4 points 6 points 8 points
Maximum 16 points

hi nevillek, this points are given for each section listening & speaking, so total of 3 for listening + 3 for speaking = 6 points for A2. Hey, for single applicant, A2 only gives 3 points?? Hey mkshah,
Thanks a lot. So 6 points for English (I'm very fluent) and 6 points for French A2, right? I've heard that they're giving 4 points for A2 though?
