 @  Shahi

How did you got your police clearance certificate? please help

Today, one of my friend who is applying for PR through FSW lived in chennai for 3 years before going to UAE, Infact he got PCC from UAE within 3 days but today when he came to chennai, he had very bad experience.

When we went to the police station, they asked him for the following things

  • Passport copy
  • 2 passport size photo
  • Request letter for the PCC
  • letter from the owner of the house were he stayed
  • House owner's ID
  • letter from the neighbor stating that he stayed in the house/area
  • He stayed in UAE came to india 3 times, so all the travel documents while travelled to India 3 times.

I think this is ridiculous.
I am sure there should be some other way by which PCC can be acquired timely.

You can imagine my friend have to go back to UAE and he caught up in this web for Chennai PCC.

Kindly suggest

Thanks

 @ shahi

Can you please suggest on the same

 @   hamadaahmed
In my opinion, you can apply for CSQ as single i.e. someone who is not accompanied by his spouse. No need to show that you're divorced / separated. You will require 55 points to qualify for CSQ instead of 63 poinits, if your wife is not accompanying you.
Thanks so Much for this valuable information, it is really very hard these days to find people like you who are really helpful, willing to give the right information. Thanks once again, i will apply for CSQ application by end of this month. Merci beacoup .

Can you quote any specific clause of the immigration rules to support your opinion ? I request you not to comment if you're unsure about something. Your advice can make/break someone's future. Be Very CAREFUL !!.
Cheers
Please don't give advice unlessyou are not 100% sure, and don't misguide the people.thanks

I sat the IELTS test 2 times, the first time my score was L-6.5,R:-5.5,W:-5.0,S:-7.0 overall:-6.0.
The second attempt was L:-7.0  R :-6.0 W:-6.0 S:-6.0  Overall 6.5 .Will one of these score give me a full mark in English skills?

I see you've underperformed in speaking in your second attempt compared to the first one, any particular reason ? Based on the results of your first test you'd have been awarded 6 (full) points but with the second test result you'll be able to score 5 points (3 for listening + 2 for speaking) instead of 6. The reason is that they only take into account your "Listening" and "Speaking" proficiency and a max. of 3 points are awarded for either of the two factors. Here's the table for your convenience:

Listening            Speaking              Points / Factor

6.5+                    7.0+                          3
3.5 - 6.0            4.0 - 6.0                       2
0.5 - 3.0            1.0 - 3.0                       1

Hope this helps :9)

Dear acemsyed,
I really appreciate your reply to both my inquires about  whether i will be required to score 55 or 63 points to qualify to migrate to Quebec, your answers really help me to reach a decision to go ahead and apply. And for the English score. The reason why i didn't done well with the second speaking test was the examiner, he didn't make it easy through the interview, he didn't smile at all to make you feel comfortable and he didn't develop the question to help you give full answers, he had just read the questions as they written  written in the speaking test card.
I have another inquiry regarding the french skills as i am busy improving my skills to an intermediate level, i am studying at home by myself then in 2 or 3 months i will be ready to set the TEFAQ exam and provide it later to them  but i will apply end of this month to Paris office, will this be ok?
Regards
