hi, i'm new here... my visa office: HK/Philippines... I'm a nurse.... Application filed: june 28, 2011 AOR: july28,2011 interview: feb 9, 2011..

Hey Guys,

I would like to know you guys opinion on my application since lots of experience people around here.

I have applied for a CSQ (Skilled worker class) on Dec 27, 2011 ( Received at office(HK) on Dec 28, 2011, I got this information through DHL).

My qualifications;

Education: PhD in Electrical Engineering (  Degree is recognized by Quebec under "Mutual Recognition Agreement", hence, I get some extra points)

Experience: 3 Years as Professor

IELTS: 7.5

French: Level 1

My question is

Is there separate slot for PhDs in Quebec's CSQ?

when you appear for Interview probably you can ask them to change the visa office. if you are in Montreal by default they will ask you to send your application to Buffalo ( mine is the same case, Buffalo takes min 30 weeks to open a file ).

Unfortunately, this is the smallest font size I can use.. I can't reduce it anymore..

Yogi/Thomas: Thanks for the information on your present status. But, keep doing followup to BIQ.
1-1.3 years for CSQ is very long time.

   @   OsamaR: Your sheet is very fine. But, please reduce the font size a little bit, so that it can be viewed in one shot. Otherwise, we need to put our lot of effort to scroll the page to view the whole sheet.
