dear friends, I need your opinion please on the situations below:

1. If I withdraw my CSQ application (no AOR yet), what impact will it have on my future application?
2. If I have applied for a CSQ with a validated employment (equivalent of the arranged employment option), but decide that I no longer wish to work in that job, what can I do - should I just tell the BIQ processing my CSQ? Will they still process my CSQ application?

Quebec2011 -- You still have not received interview date? It is 15months have been passed. Have u got any mail from BIQ?


Thomas1987, Yogie -- Have you received any mail from BIQ. It is almost 10months have been passed. - I and if I don't forget "Thomas1987 too, are still waiting for any reply(probably interview call) from BIQ,Hong Kong.However, here it should be noted that due to the piles of applications after August 2010 at BIQ, Hong Kong, nowadays the minimum average time to get interview call is 1-1.3 year for non-priority applications (for priority it might be 6-8 months) and many Seniors who applied in Oct.- Dec. 2010 are still waiting for their interview. So it is the game of lot of patience..Man !!!

More people will update, less will be our effort to understand the actual processing time for different BIQ/Visa office. We can also follow up to corresponding BIQ accordingly.- Yeah, it will be really helpful to all of us to know our status comparing to others.I will surely update my status there as soon as I get any reply from BIQ.

BIQ HK services asia and australia & pacific nations so you can have combinations like HK/ND or HK/singapore.

HK/London is unlikely because europe is serviced by BIq at paris and vienna.

I have a question. Is there any difference in processing time between Hong Kong/New Delhi and Hong Kong/London candidate? After reviewing many candidate, I think.. there is. But why? BIQ is same in both cases.

Moderator of this QSW tracker [ I think mkshah] well, I m not creator of this sheet. Forum member vibez_well has prepared it. Actually he has kept it editable for all for good reason, but as we can see, unfortunately this is third time some mischieveous people on the forum has modified/deleted the contents.

No update yet on my file. Not sure whether they have started evaluating 2011 applications or not. Its a long wait i feel Hope they conducts interviews in march for 2011 applicants too.

oh yes, you're right. all pak applications go to the London VO.
but isnt this an exception ? i wonder how many other countries get the fed stage processed at london.

Guys anyone  that knows how to count the points using the GPI, can PLEASE help me? I counted 44 points, with no french for both me and my wife, and although the minimum point to pass the first evaluatiuon is 57, I also passed the online test! So please check out my counting of points, im sure I am missing something, just dont know where, but probably its in the spouse field, where I saw only age and education points:


1- Formation: Diplôme d'études universitaires de 1 er cycle sanctionnant 3 ans ou plus d'études à temps plei  -  10  points  10 POINTS
2- Area of Training Points also there--- Please check list of Area of Training Section C - Part I if studying other than quebec and Part II if study in quebec itself... this points also going to add in your total
2- Expérience: 48 mois (4ans) ou plus – 8 points 8 POINTS
3- Âge:  18 ans à 35 an  - 16  points  16 POINTS
4- Connaissances linguistiques:  Compréhension orale 8.5 / Expression orale 8 (advanced ielts)- 3 points 6 POINTS TOTAL
5- Séjour et famille au Québec NON N/A
6- Caractéristiques de l'époux ou du conjoint de fait qui accompagne:
    Formation: 3 points  /  Âge:  3 points / experience ? TOTAL 6 POINTS
7- Offre d'emploi validée NON N/A
8- Enfants NON N/A
9- Capacité d'autonomie financière - 1
10- Adaptabilité – 1 (interview)

Total 44 points, without the interview point

Please add 3 more points in calculation and if you clear DELF A1 & A2 for both of you than you would have Principal Applicants 6 Points + Accoplaying Partner Spous 2 Points which equal to 8 points

In addition to this adaptabilite points should be upto 6 which should be given by Immigration Officer after checking you ablities in French Speaking and Listining so if you are smart enough and have fluent speaking and understanding power in french than you might be getting total 6 points during the interview time but for interview and submition of this application you should have 57 points on board

Dear All,

I have been applied in June 2011 and application fee has been deducted from my account november 2011 but i have notr received my AOR and file number so far. Now i wan to add my new born baby in my dependents but i hve no file number to inform BIQ Paris. i also tried to call then on telephone number provided on website but it is automated answering line. any suggessions.
