hello friends,
I've passed delf A1 and A2 3 years ago in 2009. is it valid for csq ? I want to know the time of validity of DELF certificate.- No, Though the DELF certificate has itself valid for lifetime but for CSQ purposes;as per the new language rules come into effect from 06/12/2012, The results(French/English, i.e. DELF,DALF,TEF,TCF,TEFaQ,TCFQ,IELTS etc.) should not be older than two years from the date of submission of the application.

As per the ciep website DELF and DALF is valid for life time. Please check the link below and click on What is the relationship between the TCF and the DELF/DALF? http://www.ciep.fr/en/tcf/faq.php I hope that helps

hi devang3d, Congratulations buddy! It is nice to see u scoring high% in A2. If u dont mind, just I was curious to know why you attempted A2 thrice..... I know a person can take any DELF exam, any number of times he wishes, but as you mentioned here in ur post, u scored really well 84% in first time, so I was just wondering when u mentioned that u taken A2 second time. Should not u have taken higher level exam next time? @ MkShah, I will apply surely B1 in future..but i am working person(8:00 AM To 8:00 PM) and i cant spend too much time for french... I like to learn new things in this language...I could not cleared Delf A2 first time because of only there was no time

As per the ciep website DELF and DALF is valid for life time. Please check the link below and click on What is the relationship between the TCF and the DELF/DALF? http://www.ciep.fr/en/tcf/faq.php I hope that helps These two assessment tools recognised by the French Ministry of Education must not be mixed up. The DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française, or diploma in French language studies) and DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française, or advanced diploma in French language) lead to Diplômes d'Etat, or government-certified diplomas. Currently, some 300,000 candidates per year register to take these diplomas in 130 countries. The TCF is very different from the DELF and DALF. It is not a diploma, but a certificate of recognition of your level. It is a simple and quick way to have your level certified. The test is like a snapshot of a person's linguistic abilities at a given point in their life. It is therefore only valid for 2 years, while the DELF and DALF are valid for life.

MKShah took DELF A1 and A2 both exams on same day and passed with very good score. So you can take both exams at the same time, no problem with that.
You can do both exams on the same day . I did mine(i.e the two de same day) in December at AF but still waiting for my result.

hi harit, Thanks buddy, I appeared in A1 on one day and in A2 on the next day. I cleared A1 with 80% and A2 with 61%. So, I think it is possible to take A1 and A2 together. In A2, I got less in production orale. It is less than 16 out of 25 in production orale. But it will not affect my points for A2 as my application was sent before 6th dec and also I received AOR before 6th dec. MKShah took DELF A1 and A2 both exams on same day and passed with very good score. So you can take both exams at the same time, no problem with that.
