Well ,
We certainly dont expect "not at all" scenerio , may be we would be called sometime in future but upon my inquiry on whether I would be included in BIQ Hkong India, New Delhi mission here was what they had to say :
"Your file is still undergoing analysis. Please be patient. You will
receive a letter from us as soon as the following decision is made
regarding:
*The outcome of the preliminary review of your application
You will not be included in our mission in India this time.

Dear All,
Wish u merry xmus!!! in advance to the Quebec community, hoping to celebrate next at our destination. I am going to put up my file under the senior technician cable and circuit assembly. as it is listed in priority list. can someone throw light on the few things, i have completed my diploma in electrical stream 4years (after 12th ) from the Government (TEB Gandhinagar ) college,Surat. through Distance learning Mode followed by the one year paid Apprentice training under the title of Trainee apprentice- electrical stream. and having more than four years of experience under the designation of Senior Cable and Circuit Assembly Tech. Can anyone guide me how many point can I claim for my Education and AOT. Reply would be highly appreciated.

Varun, Thx for sharing your info from BIQ Hkong. BIQ vienna got my application on 24 august 2011 and till now i didn't got any news from them. So i think i have to calculate end of 2012 for my interwiev.  |

Genti,
Try mailing them and get confirmation on email. This would also facilitate having a record of conversation on email which could put your case stronger in case you face delays in future. Also communication from one BIQ may not mean the same from another one. Each one may have their own timelines.
Share with all forum mates what you get reply from your BIQ.

It seems like with the new rules for QSW on December 5th , for an unmarried single , 5 years exp professional , its too difficult to obtain minimum points..the french tests and IELTS are made mandatory , IELTS I can get good points..but french ! I have joined alliance francaise , but as I am working too , I do not know when I can complete and get the points for french DELF A2.
So im thinking about forgetting about this while QSW thing for a while and come back at it after an year of learning french. What do u guys think ?

Not a good decision mate. Things are getting tight day by day , and you r not even sure if they change for worse in coming few months. My advise, IELTS is OK , Delf is even easier , I am working and made it to B1 working without a break. Its possible and I have quite a lot of examples of my friends who did the same while working. Just make sure to attend all classes and tests. 16 is not an impossible target.
Think about it and you will make it. Rest in case you need any more advice PM me.
