4) Language - IELTS (will take)
French - will be enrolling to claim points
5) 2 kids (10year old & 8month old)

7) Funds no problem

My spouse details are as follows,
1) Age - 39

Hi Syed,

On your CSQ, on point 19, does it mention only "traitement prioritaire" or does it also mention why it's a "traitement prioritaire" - for example "traitement prioritaire - domaine de formation" ?

No, I only have code 130. while submitting for CSQ, i submitted with Federal application. On the federal application they stamped the date when I applied for CSQ and mentioned priority processing. I am not sure what that means..

Hi mkshah, i cannot reply to your message, still not allowed for PM.

To answer your questions, please see below:

1) Qualification - Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, 2004 - from Phil.
Also tell me total how many years of studies you did for your Bachelors of Science in Office Administration? - 4 years
A. How many years in your degree studies? - 14years from primary till degree
Is this the same as Bachelors of Science in Secretarial in Administration? Yes

Regarding Bachelors of Science in Secretarial in Administration, pls see, there is a note  at the bottom of page 1 in the link I provided.
It goes like this:
The evaluation of the 'Bachelor' of 4 years is Three years of technical collegiate studies - Diploma of collegiate studies - does this means that the below bachelors are not qualified.
Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Technology, in Food Technology, in Industrial Technology, in Marine Transportation, in Medical Technology, in Radiologic Technology, in Nursing, in Secretarial Administration.

2) Age – 36 14 points

3) Work Exp - 15years (as legal secretary, Executive Secretary (office administrator) 8 points

4) Language - IELTS (will take)
French - will be enrolling to claim points
Along with your application, if you are not submitting any results for French & / or English  Proficiency then you will not get any points for it.
5) 2 kids (10year old & 8month old) total 8 points for 2 kids below 12 years
6) No relative in Quebec
7) Funds no problem 1 point

My spouse details are as follows,
1) Age – 39  2 points
2) Qualification - Secondary Graduate – 1992 - 10 years

3) French - will be enrolling to claim points Along with your application, if you are not submitting any results for French & / or English  Proficiency, then you will not get any points for it.
4) No relative in Quebec

My job descriptions is more on NOC 1221.  Also, my graduate course is not on the List for the Area of Trainings, how can I claim points to that?

Thanks a lot!  Smiley

Hi EveryOne,

Does anyone has old rules, applicable to applications filed before Dec 06, as I am not sure about few points
1. As my application was recieved on 05-Sep-2011 and I was 35 Years and 3 Months old on that date will i get 16 Points or 14 Points for age?
2. My IELTS score was Speeking 6.5 and Listening 8.5 how much will I get for English?
3. I should be able to pass DELF A1 By FEB but It may not be with 16 Points in Speaking or Listening in such situation how much point should I get?

Hope to get some great reply from great Forum participants.

Dear Senior members,
I have couriered application for Quebec selection certificate (CSQ) on 22nd Nov 2011. As per the courier acknowledgement the documents has been reached HK BIQ on 28th Nov 2011. Unfortunately I was not aware that HK BIQ will not accept credit card payments as a mode of fee payment. But, I need to send fee through different mode. Please tell me how I can make alternative payments?

Thanks

hi mdammalli,
The best way for payment of fees is International Demand Draft, Payable in favor of
Ministre des Finances du Québec.
Also, dont forget to write ur full name in BLOCK LETTERS on the reverse side of DD. Smiley
Have u rcvd ur AOR?
I m afraid, if not, then ur file may be considered as file opened post 6th dec. Which means new language rules wll apply.
I m not sure about this though. Just sharing my thoughts with you. Smiley

Thanks M K Shah for your quick reply.
How can I send DD without knowing my file number, since still I havent received my AOR?
In case if my application got returned then as for as new rules concerned, I'm still getting enough points without considering French proficiency. My only concern is how can I show my english proficiency I havent appered any IELTS exams so far. I earned my Bachelor and Masters(Computer Science) degree in english language only from VTU Karnataka,India. Can it be proved at the time of interview or I should submit language proficiency proof?

I claimed total 60 points im my application as is my detailsa are.
Education (M-Tech)           12Points
Area of Training(aerospace) 12Point (Any comment from seniors here as my experience is in Aerospace domain?)
Age (34yrs)                      16Points
Children(1yr old son)            4Points
Financial Self-Sufficiency      1Point
French Proficiency               0Points
English(No IELTS)                6Points
Spouse's Degree (BE(CSE))   3Points
Spouse'sAreaof Training        3Points
Spouse'sAge (30yrs)            3Points

Hi mkshah, Hello everyone...........
Please follow the below links before you proceed for the application...on the serious note...... Shocked Shocked!!! It has been observed that we are doing our evaluation on the basis of the points' .I would strictly recommend to go through the following links before we apply for the skilled migrant category. Especially where we find that we get the sufficient points to qualify. The purpose of giving link is that many times we mismatched our educational-qualification-experience credentials. One who is comes under the NOC-list should check the AOT (area of training) before calculating the points. I would also recommend if you have completed your last qualification before 5yrs prior to the CSQ application then its better you consult or take legal advice. The work-related experience doesn't matter in this case. I also called up the education regulatory body of Quebec and they said to if foreign degree is taken before 5yrs then training equivalent is necessary or else you will have to get the Quebec diploma certification as per the requirement.

Please give the response to above comment as soon as possible,,,,,,
