Hi alll, Anyone can please help me in this ?

I would like to know that when i'm filling Contract respecting financial self-sufficiency along with my quebec immigration application.
Then how can i show my cash at bank. Is it mandatory to show in the form of Fixed deposit or i can show it into any form like fixed deposit for 1 year or 2 years only. please explain
i know that i have to show minimum CD$2,800 (i'm principal applicant and no child).

1)  if i have to attach a copy of Fixed deposit then how much about the duration for Fixed deposit?
2)  i have to notarized my fixed deposit documents also or only bank letter is sufficient?

Please advise, i would be highly thankful to all member. IF anyone from india, who applied to Hongkong office recently can share that would be really helpful for me. because i think every BIQ office is having their own way to calculate.

Once again thanks to all

Seniors, I have a question:

Does how fact one receives the AOR has anything to do with being part of the priority list? or AOR just depends on how fast or slow the BIQ is in sending AORs?

Any ideas ?

hi somsale,

you can hold on for a week or 2 more.... after that you can email them enquiring about the status. The BIQ seems to be inundated with applications and everything is getting delayed.

From the BIQ, HK homepage
Please note that due to the rising number of applications we have received, the time required to send you the letter confirming the opening of your file may exceed the usual period of 30 working days. The ministère will send you the said letter as soon as your file is opened.

in my opinion, i dont think it has anything to do with being/not being on priority list. the AOR is a process point. the 1st step - acknowledging that the appl is received. thats to be sent out to anyone who applies.

could even say that these files are just queued up at that stage. not even been opened for completeness check/priority etc.

Does how fact one receives the AOR has anything to do with being part of the priority list? or AOR just depends on how fast or slow the BIQ is in sending AORs?

arun86,

you need not attach any bank statement / financial documents with your application. It is not asked for, by the BIQ.

from the site:
12. Financial self-sufficiency
Enclose the completed and signed Contract respecting financial self-sufficiency with your application.

When you get called for the interview, you can maybe show your funds by way of a bank statement, FD receipts etc.

Hi alll, Anyone can please help me in this ?

Is it mandatory to show in the form of Fixed deposit or i can show it into any form like fixed deposit for 1 year or 2 years only. please explain Hi Arun, No need to attach any proof of funds at this stage of sendin CSQ application. just sign the contract of financial self-sufficiency and mention the required amount of funds which you hold currently.
i know that i have to show minimum CD$2,800 (i'm principal applicant and no child).
as vibez told, you may need to show proof of this funds at the time of interview, and even at the time of landing, so you must maintaing the mentioned amount of funds throughout the process of application.
1)  if i have to attach a copy of Fixed deposit then how much about the duration for Fixed deposit? not now
2)  i have to notarized my fixed deposit documents also or only bank letter is sufficient?not now
