@   STILLHOPE and geri: my federal file number also starts from EP, and the MR i received has a file number with B0...., but when i checked the e-status with this new number, it didnt give any status. God knows what it is for  Grin

@ StillhopeThe number that starts with EP is just your application number whereas the one with BO is your unique client number (UCI) or immigration file number. Either one should  be able to populate your status in ecas (of course that is what they say but it doesnt always  work). Hope this helps.

Hello,
I just would like to say that this can't be, because my UCI is just in number and doesn't have any letters at the beginning of it.
And my ecas works with both of them.
I don't know if Stillhope and Angeleye has it the same as me.

Sorry guys, just to clarify the interview invitation we recieved is QSW and we applied in Feb 2011.

Hi Ortega1,

Are you going for CSQ interview in february or interview for QSW (federal part)?  How long did it take you to get the CSQ and which country did you apply from?

Yes Ortega1,

If you applied for QSW program and you filed your application on Feb. 2011 then the invitation you have received is for the Quebec Selection Certificate. i.e QSC.
Get prepared and I wish you
Good Luck

Hello fellow Forum-ites, I have been an avid follower of this forum and find it quite informative and thought provoking and helpful.

My wife and I just received interview invitation at BIQ Paris next feb. And I will some help on the likely interview questions, what to expect and so on. I have read in this forum in the past but could remember exactly, I know if I search it, i will find, but will appreciate if somebody who know exactly where it is can repost.  I am sure I will have other questions to ask, but those will come shortly

Thank guys and babes for your anticipated help.

Dear friends,
I have a suggestion, Smiley if we all can share our no. Dosier & no. ref. ind ( for AOR from BIQ) with OsamaR and then we can check significance of the first 2 letters .. for those with federal AOR, they can share all...

what do you suggest about this OsamaR, can you add one more column of dossier no. / ref. ind. no. to your tracker? Smiley

Nobody will do that cause the file no is personal and should be confidential but everybody can say the first letters without the following numbers.

oh... I am really sorry... I didnt meant to shre your entire numbers... it is just initial 2 letters. I really mess it up Sad

for my file it is:

no. dossier: HAxxxxxxxxx  / no. dossier: HA
no. ref. ind: HAxxxxxxx  / no. ref. ind: HA

the same way for federal AOR..

thanks geribubaboy for correcting this mistake.

Thanks a lot Geribubaboy.

I am prepared to wait a year for that. I don't have problem waiting anymore Smiley This announcement was the main target of the application.
I have a lot of projects to make it work before leaving, a little more time waiting will be great.
But anyway i have some friends from my country or abroad that have applied at Roma Office and the final conclusion for all of them has been in the period of 5 to 8 Months.

Lets hope Smiley

Ah i forgot, i know somebody who waited 15 months until he get the Visa from Rome. This is crazy case.

Lirjan,

I am sorry to announce you that the 5-8 month fed. process is a dream now. The new rules are that the VO will treat all applications the same no matter if we have taken the QSC.
So the new rules are QSW and FSW have the same treatment in time. I am the fair example my friend It's been 11 months and 2 weeks that I am waiting for my MR and my ecas show RBVO.

Regards and Good Luck

let me share my wild unofficial personal opinion about this, it says for the second letter if it is A then it is created on site of Quebec and if its B-Z its created on interview missions. So maybe if its gona be A, I think your points is enough for the CSQ at this point and if B-Z you need the interview to complete the points needed to get the CSQ. it has nothing to do if your application is in priority or not. any corrections seniors?
