For applicants who live in France

Quebec Employers are coming to France for recruitment. Below are the dates and  places :

Paris : 3 et 5 décembre 2011

So it's a good chance to grab a job. Best of Luck

so at federal stage, we need to pay 2 fees:
1. RPRF: 490 CAD each
and 2. visa processing Fees: 550 CAD each
Also medical fees of Rs 3100 each at medical stage.
Am I understanding it correctly?

Is there any other expense involved apart from this?
What about fees for PR card after landing?

Hi
This is concerning proof of funds for Quebec selected workers.
My questions:
(1) Do we need to have the same amount as we have mentioned on the form (contract respecting financial self-sufficiency) while applying for CSQ or the amount mentioned on MICC website.
In my case I mentioned $5000 whereas on the MICC website the sufficient funds for a single person is $ 2800 for initial 3 months.

(2) Is this $2800 sufficient enough for 3 months while considering the extra cost that usually incur while settling in a new place.

yes, you need to have same amount as mentioned by you.

well, cost of living in quebec is pretty cheaper compared to other places in Canada. So, this amount is sufficient to support a single person for 3-5 months. I am not aware about the costs involved in settling there in quebec, so could not help you regarding this matter. Sad

Hi Guys,

I was thinking to create a separate thread for this post but then I tough that we might lose some members by doing so. So I preferred to share and post all of our experience in here so that we all can benefit the most out of this thread..

I will be basically tracking the time lines for each member by posting all information according to the below sample table..

Please suggest any other columns to add, if any !!
