Hi DianneO,
I have seen in another forum the Qorax has answered you about that but I think the other way around.
IMHO, once you get the CSQ, it guarantees your PR at Federal level provided that you don't have any medical illness and criminal history. In QSW, your education, work experience and adaptability is checked according to Quebec's immigration process and only things that are left for the Federal process are medical and police checks.  I hope that helps.
(Please correct me if my understanding about the QSW process is misinterpreted. ) well said
Thanks

Hi mia, - welcome on board - Which BIQ you are going to apply? Do you already know French?
In case you do and you are applying to one of the BIQ that takes almost 4 months to send the first AOR,
I will suggest you to book your French exam and attach the exam receipts with your application (also choose your french level in the CSQ Application form) and apply.
Meanwhile start preparing your exam and once you get your AOR, you can update your application with the test results.

For English, if you already have studied or worked in some English experience environment, you can attach a letter from your university or from your employer to certify that you been studied or worked in English speaking environment. That would be suffice to claim points for the English.
Thanks

Heya!

Good day Everyone..

I am a newbie on this forum but I have been reading and following the forums here since last June. I am eager to apply for the QSW and would like to ask guys your guidance on how to start. Here are my details:

Education:
Post Grad Diploma in Health and Social Care in UK- still ongoing
National Vocational Qualification in Health and Social Care Level 3(UK)
Bachelor of Scienc in Nursing

Experience:
2 years and 2 months as Nurse in the Philippines
3 years as a Nursing Assistant in UK
-25 years old
- IELTS 8.0 Listening,7.0 Speaking
-French- nil but willing to enrol
-funds are manageable

I have a partner and would like to apply both but I'm wondering if its possible to apply in BIQ PARIS bcoz im here in UK and his in the Philippines. Is it possible? If we could not attend the interview at the same time?  or I will submit it in BIQ HK?

His qualifications are as follows:
Bachelor of Science in Business Management( Maj in FInance and Accounting)
- 5 years experience
-28 years old
- English - excellent
-French- nil , but willing to learn
-funds are manageable.

I would like to ask if is it possible for me to apply together with him, or apply on my own first?
all your reply will be very much appreciated..

Thanks---

Hi fReSco, STILLHOPE, angeleye..

Today I will be going to register for the first level in french at AF but without registering for any exams.. Usually to pass A1 exam you need to finish the first 3 levels and I am only about to start the first level.

So in this case I will only submit the receipt of the french course showing the level I am enrolled in but without any receipt for writing any exam.

Would that be a problem ?
And what level of French shall I claim in the application ?

Yes admission  receipt is fine with your application. If u think that u will continue French until u get interview then tick 4-6 atleast or if u think u just want to finish a1or a2 before your interview then u can tick 2-4.

Thanks
