Hi,

I'm just new to the forum and I've been following it for a couple months now.
I'm about to submit my application for the CSQ (I'm just waiting for my eTEFAQ certificate). However, I have a doubt about where to submit it too.

I'm currently residing in the US in a H1 (that is about to expire) but I'm originally from Central America. According to some information I've gathered from several sources the office responsible for processing CSQ is central america does not get that many applications as opposed to the one in the US; thus, processing time seems to be shorter for both CSQ and federal part so I want to send it there.

Does anyone have any experience like that? Do you think there would be a problem if a send it there.

You need 8 in Listening and 7 in speaking in order to get the 6 points.

In your case, you'll be awarded 5 points.

 @   Javeed Islam,

Brother, I have 7.0 Over All Band Score in IELTS(Listening 7.5 and 8.0 in Speaking). I mentioned out Speaking and Listening for the reason that they only consider Speaking and Listening. In anyways, I think 7.0 is good enough to claim 6 points in language.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Bilal

Hi All,

It seems I meet the point system except that I don't have french where I read that i can enroll for french course while the application is in process.

Now my question is can I apply from Dubai, as it seems they accept applications from people who are in Canada only?

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/applications-receipt.html

Please advice if what i understand is correct? I see alot of people applying here, are all outside Canada?

Quick info about my self
I'm a master graduate in information management and bachelors in computer science  with 8 years of experiences as system analyst ( 2171) 32 years old with 2 kids under 6 years age.

Please advice?

So, another confirmation, do not send your documents without the ORIGINAL diploma of DELF exam, if you are taking DELF... They said my file is incomplete and returned it to me.

Hi Seniors,

I am the principal applicant and my wife did her graduation Bsc(Botany, Zoology, Chemistry) and it's been 7 years she finished her graduation.
She worked as a teacher(subjects: Botany and Zoology) in a private school for 18 months.

So will she get points for Area of Training ?

Thanks in advance,

Do not overestimate or underestimate BIQ. Some senior members of this forum who got 57 points are awarded with full 6 points in adaptability and recently some senior member claimed here that  he got no points in adaptability even when he scored 61+ points which leads to rejection of his application.

Freinds,

I have the following break of the points (ref: canadavisa,com);

Education=10,  Areas of training=6, work expereince=8, Age=16, language=6, Spouse education=3, Spouse Areas of Training=0, Spouse Age=3, Child=8, financial=1
Total= 61

Question is, if I have like 61 points without counting on 6 points of adaptability in interview or even without having claiming French Language points, will it be wise to go on with the case? Or is it likely that they are going to reject the application in the interview.

Looking to hear from you soon;

Bilal
