1. No, they will reject your application if you don't reach the interview threshold. 2. No, you have to submit the actual Diplôme, for some reason they don't consider the DELF's relevé de notes as proof of your level in French. 1. As I am short of one point Can I submitting the application now and submit the A2 certificate later?
2. I got the provisional certificate for DELF A1 and will get the original certificate on mid august, So can I submit the application with provisional certificate?

Friends,
A quick but interesting question.
My educational degree "Computer Science" (2+2) (2 Yr. Bachelor+ 2 Yr. Masters) (Total 16 Yrs.) falls both in following. Which should I consider. Points with 12,16 OR only 6?
1- DOMAINES DE FORMATION PERMETTANT D'OBTENIR 12 OU 16 POINTS À LA GRILLE DE SÉLECTION (12 or 16 points Area of Training document) with Code U115
AND
2- DOMAINES DE FORMATION PERMETTANT D'OBTENIR 6 POINTS À LA GRILLE DE SÉLECTION (6 points Area of Training document) with Code U115
Thanks, Bilal
Dear Bilal, What is your native country degree points are based on Quebec equivalency (see GPI for reference). Do you have quebec degree if you have your degree from Quebec then you can claim 12 points for AOT otherwise you will be awarded 6 points, I also have Masters in computer science and my AOT is 6 points.

Hey guys,
Sent in my application on May 5th, 2012 havent received an AOR as yet. The wait is the worst part I think. In addition, I havent seen a lot of successful cases from my country. Hoping for the best still.

Hi kumarpk, I agree with kuro_shio's response. Unfortunately, you will have to wait until you meet interview threshold of 57 points. Otherwise, they may return the application. By the way, when did you appear for DELF A1? I and my wife appeared on May 07, 2012 and we are patiently waiting for diplôme. Good luck! Hi Manoj and nevillek,
Thanks for the reply and about my french language skills, Me and my wife gave DELF A1 and got the scores above 16 so I considered 4 points and I am planning to give DELF A2 in august.
Now my questions are
1. As I am short of one point Can I submitting the application now and submit the A2 certificate later?
2. I got the provisional certificate for DELF A1 and will get the original certificate on mid august, So can I submit the application with provisional certificate?
Here are my points:
Training Education 12 Area of Training 6 WorkExperiance 8 Age 16 Language Proficiency 6 Family and Stay in Quebec 0 Spouse Characterastics 7 Validated Employment Offer 0 Children 0 Self Sufficiency 1 Total 56

@ kumar, I noticed that your individual application is reaching 49 points. If you want to file your application immediately then you can file individual application without spouse and later you can update BIQ with spouse application and difference fee. Meantime you and your spouse can start learning french immediately. Hi kumarpk,

Hi,
i have a BIG problem
i hold a Diploma in Business Marketing + 3 years work experience as Secretary.
i am actually focussing on the job than on the education points.
For quebec they require a minimum of a Diploma level right?
the thing is now on the list if i require a bachelor degree to get Education points will they still consider my application as i have worked more than one year in a job which is on the list???
please someone reply
thanks

Dear it seems your points are less to apply at the moment, it is suggested to take some french exam and get at least A2 to get 57 points and it is recommended to take B1 with your wife A2 to make you case stronger.

I think your job does not match your area of training. Why? 3. Why Quebec? Why Montreal? 4. Do you have pay slips showing your salary? 5. Do you have your scholarship award letter? 6. How did you learn French? 7. Do you know how many companies are there in your field in Quebec? 8. What profession you want to exercise in Quebec? @ Ketevan
