OMG!!! My B.Com. degree was 3 years and NOT 4 years like a Bachelors degree in Quebec. So what will they do??? Are people with Bachelors degree of 3 years ineligible to apply???  Shocked  Shocked

By the way, I also have an M.Com. degree of 2 years. So I have counted 12 points for the Masters as per their list but reading this rule that 'duration of Bachelors should be same as that of Bachelors in Quebec', I am getting VERY scared. If they give me only 10 points, my score will be 47 instead of 49!!! PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!!!  Sad

Don't be worry nevillek, if you have master degree then they will count your total education and give you 10 points they consider it to the equal of Quebec's bachelor. Same as mine I have three years bachelor after that 2 years master I also was thinking that I'll get 12 points but one of my friend informed me that he got 10 points for the same case.

Its not easy to learn french

& during interview he will tell you that you applied quebec because your NOC not in FSW

since you dont speak french well, you will leave Quebec to Toronto  Grin

Its true... so either make it by high french level B1 or....

So, lets say my NOC is listed on FSW NOC, and I apply for QSW. During interview, I screwed up (cant say and understand anything).

Do you think they will consider it and let me pass?

FOr me, I dont hava any family or friends in Canada. My goal is to have a better life and future for my children. So, I dont mind to land in any province. For me, any province is the same. If we can survive in Toronto or Vancouver or Calgary, I dont see any reason why we cant survive in Montreal  Grin

Hi girl,
no, It is not ur preliminary review result.
Since ur file is submitted in Jan-2012 and if ur AOT is not in priority then it is long waiting for u to get preliminary review result, as currently they are still processing Oct-2010 applications.
It is strange that they sent u this letter.
Pls can u share with us the exact wording of their mail/letter to you.

 @ mkshah
hey! sorry for the late reponse. well, i filed my application in dec 2011 and not jan 2011. i have done my bachelors in commerce so dats not in priority is it? for AOT i mean. yes, i heard that news too..that they are processing oct 2010 applications right now:( so how long do u think it will take for me?? Cry
yes, sure i would share the details of the letter with u all. when i had sent my application dec2011 i had mentioned on a stamped paper that i will be enrolling for thefrench classes in jan 202 and wil send them the results as soon as i amdone with the delf exams. then, i had sent my ielts " academic" along with my application. received AOR in jan 2012 andthen after that i received this letter which u r referring to as " strange" hehe! i will tell u the summary of the letter. it basically said that they r in need of my frnch and ielts marks sheet. in which case i assumed that they r not accepting my ielts academic and want ielts general. so i gave my ielts general and once i got my delf marks i sent itto them. coming to the letter,it also said they are giving me 6 months time to submit delf and ielts and if i fail to submit within 6 months they will be"OBLIGATED " to close my file.

let me know if u need to ask me anything else. aapreciate all the help dude. thanks!
