hi, How did u come to know that it is new point system? Any confirmed announcement by quebec authorities, pls share. Also, I checked this website, but I could not find how to calculate points under this point system. Pls can share, how u calculate 70+ points for your application? Is there any possibility that it will be applicable to old applicants also? thanks in advance. Hey, it is published in Canadian registered website.. There is a chance that its going to be new point system. Well, I think we need to wait some more time in order to confirm this on other websites.
By the way, I scored 70+. :-) as per this assessment.

I havent heard of it, but it is possible. The rate of submission has slowed down as they refuse applications with missing docs and everyone is also taking the time to have language test, etc... So it would make sense that they process applications faster.

Whats good for old applicants should be applied. could be new rules will come, to make it easier, as they need immigrants current rules so hard. I mean 55 points not easy at all.

Do not worry much about birth certificate. More than 70% Indians dont have their birth certificate but they can prove their DOB by showing Passport/10th certificate. You can inform BIQ in written note about your problem. Provide alternative documents which can support your DOB. Dear All, Please help me , me and my husband we both dont have our birth certificates so what should we do so as to compensate for this.

Dear All,
Can you please elaborate on this new rule System and sources favoring the same.
Please do not get confused, this is not official. This is just speculative as there were even another unofficial site that showed totally different points scale. If any changes regarding point system becomes official we will likely see it on canadavisa's quebec worker section, and more officially in the "Guide des Procédures d'Immigration"

Friends, please help.
I have a Bachelors+Masters in Commerce from India
I have a slight confusion in Q.4. of the Application for Selection Certificate:
Are you the holder of one or several of the following diplomas:
1) Quebec diploma 2) Canadian diploma 3) Diploma or training recognized as equivalent by a Quebec regulatory body 4) Foreign diploma covered by a Mutual Recognition Agreement (ARM)
Is it No.3 or No.4? Please suggest. Thanks!

All should be marked no. No. 4 only applies to diplomas issued in France, No. 3 applies to professions regulated in Quebec. These questions are used to determine if you fall in category 1 or 2. Here is a link to all regulated professions:http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/employment/regulated-professions/professional-order.html If your profession is listed here and you have successfully applied and obtained your license, you may then select No. 3.

Yes, it is true, for applicants from INDIA you have to mark NO in each column.
