Proof of funds is required at the interview stage....

upon landing if you have more than $10,000 CAN you must indicate this to the back of arrival/immigration card and again to the customs/douane officer when you indicate to them you came to do your landing.

You do not have to take all $10,000 (or if more) as physical/liquid cash....you can have your money in the form of money orders, managers cheques, travellers cheques etc...or in other securities such as bonds, tresury notes etc.

Hope this helps
Account statement isn't required through out the process of CSQ. I applied through a consultant and was surprised when I was instructed not to take account statement with me for the interview. Truthful at the interview it wasn't request.

Cheers.

I have already obtained my QCS. So when I arrive in Quebec I won't need to show proof of funds upon arrival?

Thanks for your help.

Have your funds and proof of funds to make sure you dot all the I's and cross all the T's

I find this comment a bit of a slap in the face to some who are trying earnestly to help, the reason is these changes were imposed recently and to be honest no one knows; with this said forum members are trying their best to find out - I have read several blogs recently here where members had made calls to various BIQ's and sent emails to same to get some clarity.  Have patience my friend, everyone is still trying to help...

Older seniors may not be able to give any sound advice as these changes are new, and those who applied this year will not have any experience to share what was really accepted until next year as they have just applied.  We are just like you and trying to help others in light of this shifting sand called "Quebec Immigration rules to come" I'm kindly asking you, just couch what you have to say in a more positive manner please...

I think people here on this forum are doing the very best they can do to help each other as every case is differnet from other depending upon the capacities and requirement of the applicant. the rules are being changed continuously since last year and frankly speaking very one is little bit confused but trust me the members on this forum are and will use every medium to solve each other problems...

Just follow the instructions given by BIQ for bringing the documents at the time of interview..

Yes, he needs to get certified translation of his stay permit either in English or in French.

At the initial application you just need to sign the contract of self sufficiency,  please be sure that you indicate the correct amount and sign the form in the correct place (not in caregiver section)...for me 1 applicant was $2,800 CAN for two (2) persons it was $4,300 and it increases with each additional family member.

Bank statements at least showing the last three (3) months transactions will be needed if you are called for an interview as the proof of your funds that you declared that you have when you signed the contract of self sufficiency.

Thank you !

Hi guys ,
I am kind of stuck with something and hopefully one of you here ,seniors or someone who knows about this can tell me a little bit more about this .
Like i said before in my posts i spoke with a consultant from Quebec who's trying to work on my file ,but even after everything he said i have been looking around here because i want to hear from people who actually went through the process without any help from any consultant to know if i am not being sold something that is not true . Not long ago i ask here if i could apply from my home country instead of buffalo , and kindly Bajan4quebec did answer my post with the information i needed and it seems that everywhere i have looked the answer is the same , the consultant in the other hand said something similar but kind of confusing . The reason i have been asking, its because my spouse doesn't have status here in the US,i am a PR here and the consultant said that it wouldn't be an issue because i am the principal applicant but i kind of have my doubt on that cause i know for the federal part it would be true  but for the quebec part i am not sure with my wife status, i found someone who actually told me i can't even apply in my home country so this got me confuse  ... if anyone have any idea about this please let me know. Thanks
