Good day all, I am about to file my application for Quebec Skilled Worker at BIQ in France and need to make the following clarifications before i proceed;
1. I have a basic knowledge of French and i believe i should be able to pass DELF A2 or A1 proficiency exams; i am married and at the moment my total score is exactly 63 points on the dot without claiming any points for french since i don't have any supporting documentation yet. I will like to know if i can scale thru without sending the french certificate and if not will it be possible for me to send it in later after i have passed the certication exam? If i decide to claim points for french at this time, will i be required to send in the certificate at a later stage even though i scored enough points without claiming points for french? I plan to take the December or February exam anyway. I have also registered at Alliance Francaise in my country and plan to include the registration documents in the application file.
2. I misplaced my birth certificate some years back and have been using a sworn affidavit of declaration of age which i got from a Federal High Court in my country; i want to know if this is acceptable in place of a birth certificate.
3. Can i claim 6 points for English Language by simply providing evidence of schooling and work in English?
4. I want to immigrate with my niece of about 10 years as the mother is no more and we do not know her father either as my sister conceived as a single lady and gave birth to her; she has been living with me for over two years now and i do not have any form of adoption documents yet; will this document be required at this stage or at any stage for that matter? If it will be required and i get one now before applying, could it cause problems for me?

Hey DONSOFT.. Find below some answers to your questions..I hope it'll help.Good day all, I am about to file my application for Quebec Skilled Worker at BIQ in France and need to make the following clarifications before i proceed;
Yes, you can proceed with sending ur application now along side ur supporting docs and ur AF registration docs. Any improvement in ur french language skills can be reported later and would definitely help ur application.
2. I misplaced my birth certificate some years back and have been using a sworn affidavit of declaration of age which i got from a Federal High Court in my country; i want to know if this is acceptable in place of a birth certificate. Your affidavit and ur passport data will be enough.
3. Can i claim 6 points for English Language by simply providing evidence of schooling and work in English? Any evidence of language proficiency will initially help, specially from your employer(s).
I am not sure, but I guess yes; such document will prove that she's ur dependent child now and so she could be added to ur application. Such document shows that her natural parents exist no more and u are her only parent.
Wish u the best of luck. Don't hesitate to drop down ur questions if u still have any concerns.

Hey Shahi..
I guess a main point to count a work xp is that to be 'paid'. Other activities like volonteering work don't count.
Cheers..

@ shahi. Sometimes it can be counted in, all depends on the Visa Officer Good Luck. I did look at the update on the Quebec processing times. Looks good.
