Hi All... My interview date's getting closer now. Been preparing and all, and suddenly last week, I'm smitten with Chicken Pox, lol...that all I can say. Much better now and on treatment. I'm sure by Friday, it will be gone. Hope ya'll are doing great. Kinda nervous and excited at the same time. God will lead I guess. Any tips on the typically "hard" questions that may be asked?

netsaig..
Chicken Pox?! How old r u again?! Wish u a speedy recovery..
Since u put itin God's hands..do not worry.
I haven't passed through Quebec interview, but I can see that u have to show determination, passion, enthusiasm to immigrate & live there. Show that u have a plan, considering every detail & working hard to accomplish it.
Nothing to add in regard of being honest & truthful.
Good luck. Okay...that's lovely, Hope it just goes well. And how's the French requirement assessed at the time, coz right now I'm just like 2/10 with French, lol.

Hi everyone!
I am wondering...Fees have been deducted from my credit card and I have not received AOR as yet and others who applied after me have received theirs via email. What does that mean? Can anyone suggest?

Don't worry. Since they have made the transaction through ur credit card, so this means they have opened ur file. Receivin the AOR wont make any difference and it maybe subjected to delays because of several factors.
Relax, it's on its way.

It's not a mistrust issue, it's just weird & unusual to get such contradicting information. In fact we have nothing to do with these statistics & numerical plans. We cannot argue the number they select or accept. As I said, it's just unusual to receive such conflicting, or maybe misinterpreted, data.
Viva Canada! Well, I guess they must put some cap of some sort to control the level of immigration, isnt it?

what does anyone think about the high tax rate in Quebec?
For $70,000 pay, take home is $50,000.

DEar Shahi/Iceberg Good Day! Online evaluation is a bit more generalized and does not show exact marks caluculation for an individual. Further i suppose that my profile is strong enough that i can qualify without French Lanaguage however after CSQ acceptance i can get enrolled in French Language course just to prepare for interview if required.Could you please refer any official quebec immigration link that gives exact point calculation? @ Boom... online evaluation is more specific and relevant.. my suggestion is to take your decision based on your online evaluation. Good luck!!
@ Plncmy... I have never heard of this letter before.. So sorry.
@ Nayak... Well if you have started larniong french and plan to continue..well by the time u get interview u ll be intermediate..i think that works fine..better evaluate your self online on quebec website.
As far as living in quebec is concerned, well even i have no experience of that..may be others members can help you good luck!!
Shahi

vics4u..
Welcome to our forum..& more specifically to our thread..
Since ur occupation, in which u have enough experience, lies in the 29 occupations list; I guess it would be more efficient/faster to apply to FSW program.
The point is that u'll fulfill the experience requirement in one of the highly required fields. Your French language skills will be as additional asset to in ur favor. And of course ur English is so good to get accepted.
This is my humble point of view, it's all up to u to make ur own decision.
Good luck.
