there is no new AOT list issued by quebec immigration. they have just written the old list in new format and new style and divided into different groups. although list is same

I think Francaise is quite right they just divided old 2009 AOT List in to groups 1,2,3. But the main thing i think we should know that the preference is given to the education taken in Quebec as compare to foriegn country. As well as priority treatment is same as it was in 2009 the new thing the Immigration introduces the limiting the number of Applications for foriegn country which means that they dont require any more skill labour from countries other than canada.

Guys please correct if i am wrong.

thanks

What they (QUEBEC) means by 16 years equivalent is that, all your academic studies must have add up to 16 years in total by the time you recieved your degree in Chemistry.

I hope this HELP

I am really confuse as one side they have mention that 3 years bachelor is needed and that I have but not total of 16 years of education.

You are good to go, because chemistry degree in Quebec is also of three years.

Check this link
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/en/diverses/list-training.pdf

Thanks Badal,

I have 3 years Degree but not total of 16 years of education and as per new details published, the year of education student must be same as quebec education. So i m confused...

Hey guys,

There is a small correction, your degree is in high demand AOT and can give you 12 points, below link superseded other lists which is going to be implemented by 20th of March 2012 after approval from National Assembly (chemistry in French called "chimie"), if this will be rejected from NA then badalpharm link is a valid link

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/fr/divers/domaines-12-16.pdf

Thanks..So when we will know that National Assembly has approved or rejected?
And from where you find this information.

Hello Mkshah,

One small question... I can see in the new rule they have increased the marks for IELTS.

As per new rule.-

IELTS 8.0 - 9.0 - Listening -- 3 marks

But in Old, september, 2011 rule.

IELTS 6.5+ - Listening -- 3 marks

I have submitted my application in August, 2011. So, If I take IELTS again in coming month and submit the result, then my English Listening score will be evaluated based on new rule or old rule?

Hello javeedislam,

Thanks a lot.  Smiley

But, are you sure? I know the user quebec2011, whose file has been treated with New rule( For French result), even though he had submitted his file in October, 2010.

That's why, I am worried. They have not mentioned anywhere that the score calculation is retroactive since December 6, 2012. they have mention only, mandatory test results are retroactive since Dec 06, 2012 for those who have claimed points in Language.

Can you suggest.. Please.
