I have  sent  file  yesterday  with  amount  406 CA, and it will  till 28th March, 2012. So they would consider my case  with  this  amount  as they  mentioned that  New  payment  will  be changed  from  1st  April 2012.  It would  be considerable

AS Adding  MSC IT.I have been calculated below points from one of the agents.But I have some confusion thatway I seek your help.

As per the agent.

Details are given below.

Name:- vishal
Age:- 30 - point 16
Education:- 10+2+3+2(BCA;- Bachelor of computer application 3 years and 2 years MSC-IT) - 12 points
for BCA :- AOT points 6
Experiance:- 8 years - 8 Points
French Level:- A1 & A2 completed.(16 marks out of 25 in listening and speaking) - 4 points
Ielts Completed :- 5.5 bands - 4 points

I have 1 two years old child. - 4 points

My wife details are given  below
(They counted 7 points for age+edu+Exp)I dont know how?
Age:- 26   3 point
education:- 10+2+3(BA;- Bachelor of Arts) - 2 points
1.5 years of experiance - 1 point
She has completed French level A1. 2 points
1 point for fund.


Total they are counted 64 points

and debated much in this thread in last few days.
Pls check previous posts of this thread in last few
days.
In a nutshell, they have applied cap for quebec
immigrant quota. The decicion is pending for approval by quebec national assembly. If
approved, it will come in effect from date 20th March 2012 (retroactive to 20th March 2012). So all applications they rcvd after this date will be
processed as per this new rule.
In skilled worker category, they have divided
applications in 3 groups:
Group 1: this will include basically all applicants
who are applying from within canada/quebec or have ties some or other way with canada/quebec.
There is no cap applied for this group 1.
You will also be a part of group 1 if your AOT is in
the new list issued for 16 or 12 pts for AOT.
however, now you must have related work
experience in your field of AOT in last five years. If not then you will not be in Group 1,  but in Group 3.
In Group 2, they have included the AOT with 6 pts.
There is cap for this group 2. Maximum of 14300
applications will be processed from 21st march 2012 to 31st march 2013. The first update on applications received after 20th March 2012 will be
made available on website on 31st March 2012.
Group 3: if you nnot find yourself in  group 1 of
group 2, then u will come in group 3. And they will
not accept any application for this group 3. I hope this info will help to clear the ambiguities.

No problem dear, i suggest you to check with your courier if application is received before 1st April 2012 at BIQ then they will charge you old fee whenever they will cash.

Further,  As per  new  Checklist form AA-1520-AF, they have requested  to just send original  Work  certificate, so  I just sent  Working Experience certificates of each employers  ( did not send  Offer  letters), beacuse of  urgency and   i didnt have  notarized copies of each  yesterday beacuse of sunday . Do I  send  offer letter  notarized  copy  as i get  file number ?  please advise.......

if you sent the original, then it needs no notarization. Hope all the 'photocopies' of the other documents were notarised.

no points are given for spouse work experience under qsw program, but surely points for AOT for spouse can be given, if work exp of spouse in last 5 years is related to the education of spouse. So you should match both these.

She has completed French level A1. 2 points
if your spouse have scored 16 out of 25 in listening as well as speaking each then 1 pts will be given for each section. So 1+1 pts for A1/A2 of spouse.

1 point for fund.1 point


Total they are counted 64 points. pls add all abovve points and also give missing details as above.

Hi style hunt,
Wait till you get any further communication from them. At least till you get ur AOR. Then if you want to submit any additional documents, you can do it with your file number, so it becomes easy for them to track your application package and attach these additional documents.

Yes! I did my research and found out that DHL take only a day for them
to deliver courier to Hong Kong coming from the Philippines. Apologies for my mistake, I actually sent my documents on the 24th, got the details corrected through the receipt.
