               You are doing very good job and helping many forum mates. I applied 25th Feb,2011.Still waiting. Interview Mission Hong kOng 1st April to 30JUne. Do you think we will be called for interviw? I mean you applied in March and me Feb.- well, I am not sure abt. us but still there is a little hope for us ,otherwise we will be called for the interview in the next mission...

Hey guys,

Since the whole QSW process takes a lot of time (18-24 months) from the time of application, can we apply for a student visa to study in Quebec right away while waiting to receive the PR through QSW?

I rcvd my CSQ on 7th feb 2011.
submitted federal application on 20th June.
rcvd AOR to undergo med checkup and submit pp and RPRF and did the same and sent every thing by 29th July.
Received RPRF receipt on 10th Sept2011 which showed that the RPRF was encashed on 27th august
eCAS status changed to Med results have been received few months later.
SINCE THEN I AM WAITING FOR MY PASSPORT  WHY NEW DELHI IS NOT SENDING BACK MY PP AND HOW LONG MORE I SHOULD WAIT?
on 6th Feb 2012 my lawyer contacted me and said embassy has asked to submit updated use of representative form which i submitted on the same day

I appreciate and would be thankful if anyone (specially from NDVO) can provide valuable feeedback

As I've  recently changed my name and passport, I have to pass this information to the office (Vienna)
how do I do it? Is there any special form for that?
and where should I indicate my file or my id number so they attach the docs to my file?

congratulations TanyaM, you have to update them as soon as possible by writing them a letter mention all your details including your file number (note: you have to send it  on the same address that they mention in your AOR).

what is your BIQ? if HongKong then your file number start with HAXXXXXX if Damascus then DAXXXXXX write this as reference and they will never accept it by email send a hard copy or fax they mention it in your AOR.

Secondly,What band  of TEF and TCF is acceptable?

Is French Proficiency Certificate mandatory for applicant and her spouse?

FINALLY,CAN I APPLY WITH ONLY IELTS RESULT OF 7.5 BAND?

Congratulations for your AOR
You should send them a letter by post about the new changes and a copy of your passport or any other documents that confirm the new change
You have to write some information in the letter like the file and ref. #

If you want to claim french points then it is mandatory otherwise you need not to send it. the same is with IELTS

well.... i guess none has any clue. what is your lawyer saying about this ?

only positive thing about it is that on 6th feb they've asked you for the repr form. thats an indication that your papers are being looked at. I've read something about the BFD (brought fwd date) on this forum... so i guess it will be examined in detail on that date and decisions taken.

its been a while for you... but it cant be much further. hang on tight ! all the best.
