hi mefleh & viorica, Many many congratulations to both of you for this good news ! After long waiting of almost 25 months, you got ur dream realized... Wish you a good life ahead! Pls see answers to your questions below: Passports Request ------- Visas Stamping
Dear All,
After many months of waiting, thought of sharing the good news with all of you:
Today, the 27th Feb 2012, an e-mail finaly has been received from Canada Embassy Abu Dhabi requesting us to send the passports for visas stamping, we have to be in QUEBEC before the 12th September 2012.
It says passports will be returned within 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!
Guys, I have 2 questions:
1- We are planing to land and come back to Qatar to close our open issues, jobs, sale of cars, bank accounts closure, etc....., How long do we need to stay in Quebec upon landing? our Brotehr in law is already there, let's say, can we stay after landing 10 days and provide his address to collect the RP & IDs? i read somewhere that when you are landing at POE, the officer will ask you if you will be returning back, at that time you should inform about your return journey plan: also I dont think you will be able to get ur PR card within 10 days. One forum member egrace62 received his PR card after 44 days of landing. 2- In our applications, we have mentioned our intention to live in National Capital City, what if we go directly and reside in Montreal instead? is there any issue? no issues at all. You can land and reside anywhere in quebec.
Appreciate your response and wish you all the luck!!!
Mefleh & Viorica

I have 7 months of work experience, but with 26 hours per week, and another 7 months to 8 hours per week. Can someone explain to me how to give points for work experience, I do not intend to send the application now. Thank you!

My friend went to Montreal in last Sept. for landing just for 2 weeks and he gave an address of his brother, and he sent the PR for them to Saudia Arabia by DHL 2- In our applications, we have mentioned our intention to live in National Capital City, what if we go directly and reside in Montreal instead? is there any issue? No matter where to go, it is always your choice
Appreciate your response and wish you all the luck!!!

Congratulations for you mef, and wish you a happy journey for landing

hi applicant.ph You should add two zeros before the fax number given on the biq hk website and then dial the fax number. Try to do it this way and let me know if it works or not. This have happened to me also, but then i did it as mentioned above and it worked well. Hi guys!any1 of u here have contacted biqHK before thru fax? I'm having some diffuclty communicating with them using the given fax number on their website.. Thanks

I don't have the salary slips and at the time i don't have National tax number. But the letter issued by my employer can be verified cos i have spoken to him he said all i can do i can generate a letter for u. Is that fine to show the experience ?

The tax method varies with countries, if your employer deducted tax from your monthly pay or if you did pay your tax, then I will suggest your get evidence of having done so from the appropriate body as a proof. The one I presented during my interview was an internet print out of tax as an eveidence but I don't think the officer paid much attention to it. For that of the pay slip, you are expected to present that of the last three months as at the time of your application or your last employment if no longer in active employment. As earlier advised a member here, it is standard practice for an employer to give monthly pay slip, so if possible try to get one from the employer or at the least generate one for presentation afterall pay slip don't usaully come in letter headed paper. I will recommend that you present something to show that the company where you acquired your experience is a standard one so that your experience can be taken seriously. Cheers, 4glory

Thanks,
Quebec requirements are only Oral communication so it would be better to go for TEFQ/ TCFQ.
