Hello All,

I was trying to search for NOC list for Quebec. I am an Electrical Engineer (4 yrs Engg degree from India) working as software professional (Sr. Architect) . I have 2 years of Associate Manager experience but currently I m not manager, should my NOC code as per 2011 NOC list be "217"?

For FSW one should have 1 years of managerial exp in past 10 years, how does it work for QSW? Id there any CAP limit for QSW (computer professionals)? Kindly help me with my questions, I m preparing myself to file for QSW PR.

Can anyone please share the link for the Quebec NOC for year 2012 with me, I searched it but couldn't find it. I found the one for 2011 http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/html/Matrix.html, please advise is this the right one and is this applicable for 2012 also?

Also if you can tell that I m eligible candidate to apply under Quebec Province.

Thanks so much.

Regarding self-evaluation.

Dear All Seniors,

1) Please help me in understanding answer to following question. I m an enginnering graduate from India ( 4 yrs engg degree). Do I qualify for this "   11. Undergraduate diploma of university studies - 3, 4 or 5 years (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 16 to 18 years of full-time education)"

As you can see I have pasted question from self-evaluation site, but I m not sure abt education part due to in bracket explained for Quebec, it is little confusing. I may sound dumb, but will want to take help from experienced people this time.

2) I self-evaluated myself based on the above education selected for 4 yrs engineering degree. May I request if someone can point me to the calculate the points for QSW, I couldn't find that yet.

Ok for my questions related to QSW, you might feel why I m applying under QSW, as my signature shows I hve applied for FSW. Reason is that I have applied for FSW but it seems it is rejected, I see DM online status after 2 yr of wait. Hoping and praying that it comes out to be technical glitch, dont know the reason yet.

Hence I m preparing myself for QSW now, please please please help me guys with my questions. This time I want to do all by myself and not want to do with some immigration representative/ firm.

I believe the CSQ indicates the Canadian visa office we should submit our federal level application to. However, according to the guidelines of the PR application form (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EQ7TOC.asp#EQ74, on question 4) - it states that we should put which visa office we are requesting to process our application, which is the one either in our country of nationality or current residence.

I just really want the office in my country of nationality, and not my country of residence, to process my application as it is much quicker by almost 3 times.

What if I put my country of nationality on the application, and not the one indicated on the CSQ (my country of residence)? Does anyone know of anybody who indicated a different Canadian visa office on their federal application?

Thank you very much Bro. Could you please confirm what does mean  "the Diploma of College Studies DCS"?

for Diploma they are giving 12 points and for Bachelor of science they give only 06 points. Is it??

Hi maccuet,
answering to your query of Points for AOT... based on your previous post and this table from below link:
http://www2.publicationsduquebec.gouv.qc.ca/dynamicSearch/telecharge.php?type=7&file=GPI_3_1_BANGLADESH.pdf

Pls check page 3 of this file there you will see the comparison of your degree from bangladesh with quebec degrees...
as your degree is 4 years bachelors in civil engineering you will get 6 points for AOT.

Hi maccuet,
If you have no or little knowledge of french, then starting it with self-study will be somewhat difficult for you. also it will be time-consuming.

As per my suggestion, pls see, if you can check with the french embassy at dubai... I read somewhere on this forum about french embassy at dubai is helping people in learning french by conducting some sort of certification courses.. may be you can enrol yourself for one such course to learn french for test..

at the beginning level, it will help you to understand the roots of language and the accent of language... once you are aware of the basics, then surely you can go for self-study mode....

Also check for TCFQ or TEFaQ test and their test centres in dubai. I think Alliance Francaise is the authorized examining centre for these tests. These tests are similar to TCF and TEF, but they are french language tests specifically designed for Quebec Immigration. and easy also because of 2 sections only... listening and speaking as required for QSW....

Dubai Alliance Francaise is not so active. I am planning to practice myself and attend exam on my home country Dhaka Alliance Francaise during my vacation. I heard TCF is easier where only listing and speaking only. Please suggest which test is more easier and I can practice myself only.

Regards
