your still waiting too?

Dear Friends

it's a very good news regarding the Quota of Lebanon 1270 .... in this case,,,,   all holders of QSC who have been waiting more than 18 months after been granted the federal number should have the ppr requested this year.

but, until this moment , no visa have been issued at Beirut VO for QSW ,,,, so I think that Beirut office will miss the quota this year... let's hope all things will be fine at the end ... finger crossed !!!

@ dignity3, it's certain that there is a lot of people who have been waiting since than but they are not on this forum, so maybe they are  getting their visas now but we're not aware because once again they are not participating in this forum or even this topic. As I said previously 1270 is a very optimistic number for lebanon and as you stated too let's keep hope in the air so can reach a happy and soon ending.  Smiley

Dear Anthonylb

I am almost sure, that until this moment, no QSW applicant has granted a permanent visa,,,and I am pretty sure that at least one partner visa applicant has been granted a visa.

do you know that Lebanese citizens who have married Canadian citizens and who applied for a partner visa, nowadays they are waiting for 2 years or more to get their visas .... and they have the priority more than us .... what do you think of 4 months of arranging files without any processing of our applications???

1270 is a great number ,,, but On the ground we are just seeing laziness, careless and Indifference from the Beirut vo....

they need a Miracle to be stick with the quota ...  ,, I think it would be a miracle if they can finish 10% of the quotas...

let's hope and wish and pray .... but what we should not do is to rely on the unreliable people....

Dear My friend Lemans

I believe, the problem is that Beirut vo is not working on our files as it should be....I don't know the real problem but what I am sure about is that there are something wrong in there, the problem is that the office is not active and ineffective,,,, what is your opinion when you know that the files are still in a boxes?
what is your opinion when you know that the fastest procedure for a file will take 7 months ... how could they grant 1270 visas??? .... it's a mission impossible .... look at the procedures :

1) -security interview ( if not waived)
2) - medical examination ( most applicants has not requested a medical and even who has been requested ,, their medical is expired).
3) new police certificate from all visited countries more than 6 months..
4) new forms to fill the recent information.
5) CSIS CHECKS, SECURITY CHECKS, CRIMINALITY CHECKS ,,, BACKGROUND CHECK AND FURTHER BACKGROUND CHECKS IF NEEDED ....
And each procedure need at least 2 months to be achieved ...

the matter is not about the profession, trust me ,,, it's all about the effectivity and strenuousness. Beirut VO is not like Ankara or even Amman office ....
let's hope to see some movement and some motivation in the coming months .... finger crossed

Shocked i just sent my second file but is scaring what i am reading here!!! as i can see i have to wait more 3-4 years!!!!
During the interview i asked the officer if i can send my second file to be proceed from Romania, as i am romanian and he told me no, is easier to be proceed from Beirut. He told me will be a long procedure to move my file now..and will take time, and he told me do not worry they will work quickly from Beirut , u'll need around 12-15 month to have ur visa.
My sister in law traveled 2 years ago when files were proceeded from Damascus, and after CSQ she waited less than 18 month.
I believe they are dizzy now with all those changes and Beirut office is not so busy....not like other countries, so i'm sure u'll all have good news soon.
Best of luck

I have feelings that file processing will be fast, all of you will land in 2013  Grin

As 1270 Visas for country like lebanon, & 1000 Visa for all asia, thats so good & 600 for China

1600 visas for 3-4 billion  Cool

and 1270 for 3 million  Shocked

This is my favorite part: "they will work quickly from Beirut, u'll need around 12-15 month to have ur visa." ... what 12 months, bi iyyem l loulou when everything was running smoothly in damascus it wasn't 12 months, maybe 18 months but defo not 12.

Honestly, do you expect him to tell you: "oh they are so lazy and the situation is so complicated there that you will turn 64 before you get your visa" look at Lmastory and I and many others 28 and 29 months of waiting knowing that the files have been to Beirut since 4 months ago

I have my friend her csq expired and her medical test expired also  Grin she called them , they said  no problem, dont worry

maybe coz they already accepted in federal.

See you waiting medical test?

Someone here medical expired

Could be waste of time waiting ..... but it worth  Tongue

Why dont you try Qatar first? Its booming now....you can take visit visa 2-3 months and you get work easily & your life will change..

You will forget about Canada, when you make money.... Staying in Lebanon will depress you and put pressure on you.

5-10 years working in gulf then retire all your life,  Cool

Why dont you search for job in Quebec that will hurry up the process

This search engine for CSQ holders

http://emploiquebec.net/individus/emploi/travailler-au-quebec.asp

Actually I am getting interviews over phone from Montreal, but I dont have the CSQ yet.
