Masmun...try and evaluate your chances on quebec website...online evqluation..i think you should try if you are so determmined....you can apply...try to attach ur admission slip of intensive course along with ur application..
interview can be in Bangladesh or Hong kong..tht depends on the embassy!!

My AOR date is exactly one day before yours. Could you tell me have they communicated the interview timings to you yet? Is your of training in the list of preferred area of Training who are given special treatment?

Hi, I applied for Quebec CSQ. In the application form, I mentioned Data Manager as intended occupation and Information Systems Trainer as an other occupation. I do not know this is preferred area of training or not. If somebody knows in the forum, I will be very thankful for the information. They did not communicate me for an interview. regards, KB |

Hope you are doing well and your waiting is within time frames,
I got a question for you people, i have received my acknowledgment letter that my PR Application for Quebec via Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi 2 weeks ago....... I am trying since then to check online by introducing Immigration File No, Bxxxxxxxxx with all other required info (Family name, birth date, place of birth) but the result always that based on information i have submitted, they are not able to show any progress or case status NOW.
Do you have any idea why? have this ever happined with you Guys.

My PR application received on 13:00, 27 Feb 2011 by REEMA! so its just few days ago. I am wondering when I should receive my second (Federal) AOR and do not have any idea what would happen next.

Kia / Shahi,
will, I beleive I know the steps of what gonna happen next, my brother in law and his wife just received a letter asking thm to submit their passport for PR and the steps are:
- PR Application submitted to your visa office
- AOR including Immigration file number that starts with Bxxxxxxxxx (Letter B and nine digits): within 2 months from application received date
- Background & Criminal check: 6-9 months
- Letter asking for medical test including medical forms and doctor info in your area: medial test has to be conducted and sent back within 90 days (cost arround CAD 300.00 = 1000.00 Dirhams of UAE)
- If medical results are ok, letter asking for passport and Police Clearance again only from the place where do you live now.
- Passport with PR.

I have received my AOR in Sep2010 , no request for any docs or more inforwere provided in the letter . since that time i have nt heard anything back from them , Looking at some of this forums applicants timelines it does nt look my application falls at the same time range . you think this is normal or shall i contact the Immigration office in Damascus . Appreciate your reply . Thanks

I think you are still within time frames........... i have received my AOR from Damas after about 40 days and didn't hear from them again till after 5-6 months to attend the interview which was 9 months from my AOR date.........
Your status still ok....... be patient...
Where are you applying from? are you alone or family package? what is your NOC!!!!!!
