Quebec 2010 Applicants Damasucs Visa office

Guys,

You got me confused for a moment. I went to my files and look them up again.

For the records, I have applied in March 2011. Received an email on July 2011 that my file is under processing with "No réf. ind : DA0102XXX".

Then after one month, I received a receipt for the payment by normal mail. It contains two numbers.
1. Reference: DA000044XXX
2. Client: DA0102XXX (same as the one I received in the email mentioned above).

So I assume that DA000044XXX is the receipt number while DA0102XXX is my file number.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

whatever the file number was 44xxx or 10xxxx, the difference in numbers is the same i think !

Our friend Ricoluna had the same case. She is the best person to answer you for this question.
I have noticed in your details that you applied in May 2011, may I ask where do u live and what is your area of study and experience.
They are still processing July and Aug 2010 files. So your file must have been flagged as priority processing.

 @ dsader, i live in dubai but im from the philippines..i work as a nurse. yeah i received an  email that my case could be priority, they told me to send again my transcript. after that, they put me on d waiting list..hope i answered ur questions.

Hello Geona....i received same kind of mail last year saying i am on a waiting list for interview....this was in October 2011 and this year i was called for interview , received the mail March 21...so after 5 month!!!! and my interview will be May 22, in Istanbul.

i just have one concern, is it possible to request that my interview will be in hongkong instead of istanbul because the former is more closer to my home country and im planning to take my vacation leave on that interview period. Or is it okay to ask them bout it through email?
i dont mind to take it in turkey but thinking ill be travelling alone there and i dont know anybody is scaring me. at least in hongkong ive got an aunt there to ask bout hotels..etc..

javeed DA10xxxx is the ref. number & DA40xxx is the file number (so check again ur AOR, u will find another number corresponding to ur file)

Geona is not a good ideea to change the place of interview...do not tell them u must travel alone in Istambul,,knowing no one...do not forget that u are IMMIGRATING ALONE...and u'll travel alone to quebec knowing no one....so take the interview wherever they ask.U're gone do it..when i'll be back from istanbul i'll give u all the details u need. RICOLUNA is smart she is right dont tell them difficult for you to go for interview in Istanbul.

mike so you should get call soon, Ive been told that next 6 months interviews will be in Gulf , so you'll come to abu dhabi maybe.

well moving to new country isnt easy at all to start new life, to search new job and issue driving license and find a house and furniture etc....

so ill be waiting my interview in abu dhabi maybe gonna be in September/october.

when RICOLUNA interview?May? there is also someone else i think.

she got call 2 months before ,,, so we might get call in june for september

I don't think this is bad news for us who have not yet applied for the federal part. This will definitely mean that the processing times will get shorter than before.

Batlimos_85 is right this new rule is imposed on FSW (Federal Skilled Workers) only, we are happily QSW applicants, may God help all of us to get success before any bad news come up.
