just trying to expect when will be my interview, as my file number is DA043xxx and urs is  DA35xxx
( 8000 files difference ), dont know i think this not gonna take less than a year?

I hope the process will be quicker now, as they reduced the number of new applicants, and imposed strict conditions.....so for sure they will solve old applications quicker. I don't know the number processed by each mission..but they are processing files now from Aug 2010.

i don't know if this will make you feel any better. i applied in December 2010 and my no. is DA409xxx so there are around 6000 between august and December. well at least when they contact me you will know that you got 2000 applications to go!

This is ur file number, DA = Damascus and the rest is ur number, by order. My file number is DA35 xxx, Ahmad's DA40 9xx...ur file numer is
DA10x xxx...., so are around 61 thousand applications between u and Ahmad...let's hope they will proceed them quicker !

I applied on november 2010 , which is 3 months away from RICOLUNA

so as till now, RICOLUNA DA35xxx
then     me         , DA0000401xx
then batlimos_85 , DA409xxx
then Ahmed K.      DA043xxx

but where you all live at?

I live in abu dhabi, ricoluna au liban and what about you batlimos & ahmad?

I am 5000 files away... any idea how many files processed per month? but I know some are waved .

if they process 8  interviews /day (1 hour each interview ) about 180/month

lol its gonna take ages hehehe

or maybe DA for Damascus and the other number XXXXX could be continues . so between DA35xxx & DA0000401xx sone files might be all over the world

javeed DA10xxxx is the ref. number & DA40xxx is the file number (so check again ur AOR, u will find another number corresponding to ur file)

u applied in nov 2011, i applied in feb 2011 and they applied in 2010 ( file number increments with the date)

J'ai presente mon dossier en octobre 2010. J'ai recu le AOR en Fevrier 2011.
Sur l'AOR vous avez deux numeros :
Numero ref. ind. : DA00922XX
Numero dossier : DA0000391XX

Oublier le premier numero.
Pour connaitre l'ordre il faut suivre le second numero.

Exemple pour les dossiers a Damas :
Ricoluna      | Aout 2010        | DA0000354XX

I'm quiet sure these numbers are correct. My AOR issued very late because I send my case to Damascus which forwarded to Montreal and I received my AOR from Montreal

Its the case of all of us, i received my AOR after more than 8 months, but still that wasn't the date of opening the file, because several months before receiving AOR i got informed from my bank that the bank check corresponding to the application fees was being chashed what means officially that my application is in process since that time, what pushed me to send an email asking for my AOR to Damascus and Montreal, and later they replied by sending a copy of it to me by email, otherwise may be they wouldnt send it till now if i didnt ask.

Moreover, its mentioned clearly in the AOR that the second number is the file number, and here osama sumbitted his application in nov 2011 and his file number is DA50xxx, (still so far from 10xxxx)
So, im sure that ur file number is DA40xxx
