Hi Guys,

Need an urgent advice,I had received CSQ interview call  @  Damascus office, Syria. I had confirmed the interview meeting by faxing them. But today I got to learn that I was not granted Syrian Visa. Now what should I do as they have stated in their invitation once confirmed and canceled the interview the file gets closed with further notice. Unless strong evidence provided. Now what is the best way for reschedule my interview. Any assistance..........would be appreciated.

Regards.

Hello everyone,

I am the new one to join this thread, thanks for having this in place.

I have just sent in the docs about a week ago to Damascus visa office.

Don't know French yet but have enrolled to take classes next month and sent in the registration form and a letter from the instructor that I will be taking classes. For the English proficiency I used my undergrad degree as a reference since the medium of instruction was English for my course work.

As far a I know (from Quebec immigration website) that the Damascus visa office is currently processing anything received right around beginning of January 10.

Any comments are appreciated.

Not too long ago I was told by one of the immigration consultants that the interview, if the need be, is conducted in Dubai, UAE, I wonder why they scheduled it in Syria for your case.

Hi Katoky,

Next is to collect my Police Clearance from Jordan & Qatar and from Romania & Qatar for my G/F, Fill up the applications for Abu Dhabi - Forms for thr Residency Permit and submitt the as soon as possible along with 550 CAD * 2 = 1100 CAD.

Then i will wait for instructions to undergo medical test. once medical results ok, i will send passports for visa stamping.

Above process takes 6 - 12 months.

Wish me the luck
Regards

Frank123..

I believe that ur failure to receive the syrian entry visa will NOT hamper ur immigration file/chances to get a fair treatment.

Simply because it's not ur fault not to receive it..and they know so.

So simply, as the good guys have indicated..send'em ur visa denying docs, asking to defer the interview..or move it to any other country.. (Egypt or UAE..or whatever else where u can have an entry visa).

Remember, getting an entry visa to a country other than Canada is something neither u or them can control..& it's not one of the "requirements".
