Hi Kikki Ricoluna sent me TCF 250 activity book + CD plus another book and CD from beirut which is currently in use. Latest version of that book and CD is also available on "All Prints" book shop at hamdan street near Qatar airways office if you need it urgently. it is not very expensive both are TCF book + CD is less than AED 200/- as i checked last month. regards Mazhr |

Hi Mazhar, Is the book all in french? Isn't there an English version for people to practice? Regards, It is all in french there is no english. see this will guide u to decide when u should go for exam, i think march is not right for u as per your french if it is not good. but the good thing is that the lessons that i have they are taught in english, they take any body from basic to upper intermediate level, there is lots of material for listening, understanding, as i did u can download the audio 110 lessons on ur mobile and u can listen while driving even. regards Mazhar |

Dear Kikki I dont know whether english version is available, . TCF and TEF as i know are whole in french, TCF/TEF are for those people who are on upper beginning level minimum. u can ask anybody who has already finished level-1 for books. And even level-1 book is totally in french. regards Mazhar |

and they withdraw-ed the money from our account on 17/10 2011
i am 26 years old, spouse 30
i got my BS in computer science in 2006, and MBA in 2009
my spouse got his degree in computer science on 2003
am working as a software developer since 4 years
my spouse is working as developer/project manager since 8 years
at time i sent my application i declared 0 children, now am 3 months pregnant.
i declared level 4 as french and max level of english for me, as for my spouse i declared level 1 for french and max level for english.
at that time i didnt know french at all, while now i took A1.1,A1.2,A2.1,A2.2, and now am A2.3 at CCF Beirut.
I was wondering when shall i stop taking french and do the exam? any one can help me?

Hello dear and welcome on board,
U declared level 4 in French, so this means advanced A2, this will bring u 6 points for ur french.U can take now TCF Quebec, maybe u can enroll also B1.1 till u have ur exam.In Tcf Quebec u can obtain more than u have declared and get more points.
Ur spose will get 0 points for english, no points are given for secondar applicant for english and for french he will get 2 points.
U are not obliged to make the exam but u will have to prove ur french well during the interview.But if u have the TCF diploma they will be obliged to give u the points u have obtained in this exam, so u will be more relaxed during the interview.I advise to have the exam.Regards |

As we are approaching the visa issuance soon (En Sha Allah), I would like to ask any one who already Landed about the duration of time it takes to receive your ID and other Identifications after landing, is there a medical test to be conduct in QUEBEC as well?

No more medical tests, you are not in the GCC.. and the PR card takes 6 weeks, in some extreme cases it takes 2.5 months. |
