Dear Jet,

Overall situation is very uncertain. Canadian embassy was working at Syria but now they are not there.
So how can you predict things accurately?

In my opinion, Canada and Europe have not enough businesses to accommodate immigrants as fast as they were doing earlier. I think they have following priority list for new immigrants:

1. Money you will bring to Canada
2. If you belong to hi-tech industry
3. Security concerns country wise

Let see what will happen with most applicants...

DUDES!!
You guys are really depressing me. I'm preparing my papers now to apply to Québec, and I have been checking this forum for some guidance. But the last replies I read on this topic are really "scary".

the process is desperately dead slow and we are losing patience, i am not sure whether there will be any developement in this year perhaps next year.
it was the process of only 4-5  months and now it is more than 15 months

Man this is bad, be patient my friend, I hope you hear some good news soon.
If they called someone who applied close to your date, then maybe there is something missing in your file, is there anyway you can ask them?
