Jet thank you for this valuable input. At least now as a Lebanese I know where to try to settle first.

Since this thread is for 2010 applications while I applied in 2011. I have created the parallel thread below for everyone applied or planning to apply in 2011 so that we can share progress\timeline and experiences:

Nooooo don't go, remain on this thread, i think is more useful for new applicants, they can find infos in the previous pages, rather to post new and new questions.Even if u applied in 2011, we are still in the same boat, waiting for interviews....so do not leave the boat !

I am really counting every single second for the email or letter for interview or CSQ.....i wish if it is advised in this week. but as you know our friend who applied on 27Jul-2010 got already email last week and we have just 15 days in between do you think 150 files in between will be addressed in one or two weeks.

one week is already over since he got email for interveiw and this is second week started today.....INSHALLAH will all get CSQ and good news soon

Mazhar, i sent u my mail in a private message. open ur inbox.I was thinking too that between us and Medo are 150 files...but also do not forget that are 3 missions in Istambul, 3 officers that will be doing that ...so let's say if on daily basis they have 15 files (each one 5 )...that means that from 17 nov when is Medo's interview till 16 dec they can take around +/_  350 files right ( 25 days of work....) So i really belive our turn will come soon, Inshallah!Let's prey and hope....we have no other choice..

no prob Ricoluna, you can contact me in private, it is not in St laurent, but in d.d.o. St laurent is where most of the Lebanese go. according to wikipedia: Lebanese constitute 10.28% of the area's population.

i know all the info because first my mother has been living in montreal for the past 15 years as for the application info part well let's say i have the best lawyer so if any lebanese needs any help concerning how to prepare for the interview and what to expect to be asked as questions just let me know et bien sur en francais

another tip of the day: concerning the amount of money you declared, do not take more than that, because in case your money ran out the government will pay you welfare. well i think i will start charging fees for the info

Bachar, for the required files and documents for the CSQ do everything in french. as for the federal part do it whatever you like because it won't matter anymore, your only concern and thoughts will be to find a hottie to share half the rent with you when you go

Also during the interview there will be a part where the interviewer will try to pull your string to make you angry just to assess your reaction, it could be any topic related to you that which you might be sensitive about, remember to stay calm and do not argue, do not show any hearty or steamy reaction, it is a test based on the element of surprise to evaluate your personality and you will never know when it will spring up, so now that you know this piece of info then you are ready for it i feel bad about ruining their element of surprise now lol

well the interviewer was very nice to me, she was a very nice lady maybe there was some kind of chemistry between us

they are all nice, m not sure where you understood that they werent in my post, anyways was it your cologne ? hehe

loool , no don't get me wrong but what i meant was that she didn't make me feel stressed, even the tone of her voice was low and the questions were very simple and straight forward.
