hi saeid,
it is good step to create this thread Smiley
and I hope that surely you will receive mapple leaf within a month or so... Smiley its been a long waiting time since your PPR...
wish you good luck buddy and thanks for creating this thread Smiley

Hi All,
I am starting this thread to be able to share our experience regarding process and processing time of our QSW application, let it be Quebec part or Federal part.
I have cleared interview on 7th Feb 2011 and sent my application(1.PP 2. RPRF 3.MR) to NDVO (federal part) on June and received Federal file no on 24th June 2011.
After sending all necessary documents, the RPRF encashed on 27th Aug and NDVO sent me receipt of it on 10th Sept 2011 and since then I am waiting for my PP.
my address disappeared on 19th dec 2011 and reappeared on 6th Jan 2012 on eCAS and my current status is 2 line as:
-We received your application for permanent residence on June 20, 2011.
-Medical results have been received.

If you are QSW from NDVO please share your details so that we get to know where we stand, thanks

My Question is, if they are lookin at french points in depth and docs r clear  then why  a interview Huh? Everyone is getting a interview why is that???they directly issue csq right?Huh pls read below part of this post for reasons to arrange interviews

Whateva points system they are looking for now should be implemented for candidates who apply after dec 15th 2011. It does not make sense calculating the same for applicants who applied  before 5th dec.  Honestly saying the system they implemented on Dec 5th 2011, i would have given a 2nd thought before applying. Sad
I am sure they are not doing this for applicants pre-5th dec Shocked

Am losing hope on this now.  Hope i am called for interview Sad  so that i can justify myself, i have not written Delf but taken special conversational classes from last 4 months  thinking they will call me for the interview  and attended A1 level classes            @            AFB Sad things are heading nowhere now Sad
No need to lose hope buddy... Smiley
you still have time if you want to prepare for A1 / A2 level,
as from the news from other members around the forum, till now BIQ HK have issued interview letters upto Oct-2010 applicants for India-New Delhi Mission scheduled in March 2012. Looking at the flow of applications received by them , maximum they can call applicants upto Jan-2011 or Feb-2011 and as I can see from your time-line you have applied in March 2011, so probably you will not be called for inteview in this mission March-2012 and next A1 / a2  exam will be in May 2012.
So If you prepare well during this period of 3-4 months and appear for A1 / A2 exams simultaneously then surely u can score good (above 16 Smiley ) in both exams. I am live example for this, as i have joined AF in August 2011, prepared only for 2-3 months and scored good in A1, and a little less in A2.

I regret now Sad  Be positive buddy Smiley
Hope some good news from BIQ HK. are you scoring 57 points without french points?
if yes, no need to worry, beause in interview, apart from french, there are many other things they give weightage for giving 6 points for adaptability during interview...

Hi thomas1987,
Interviews are mainly arranged for following reasons..
1. to check the language proficiency of the applicant, as it was declared in the application form.
As per the new rules applicant has to submit the language certificates along with the application, but previously applicants were allowed to declare their level of language proficiency at the application stage and can submit their language certificates at the time of interview... so there, during interview it is required by immigration officer to assess the language proficiency as per the declared level in the application form.
2. to understand the applicant's future plans of settling in quebec and also to check what you know quebec and its culture, values, work conditions etc which will help you to settle fast in quebec and also indicates your genuine intentions to live in quebec and not to move to another province after landing in quebec
3. to verify the originals of certificates u sent with your application for CSQ.

thanks Smiley
well for me the waiting game has just started, I sent my application for CSQ on 27-Sep-2011 and received AOR on 11-Nov-2011.
I cleared A1 and A2 simultaneously in Nov-2011 and sent results are received by them first week of Jan-2012.

Scored above 16 out of 25 in  L & S in A1,
but in A2, scored 17.75 / 25 in Listening & 9.25 / 25 in speaking, so worried, if they consider my results of A2 with new language rules... Smiley

I suggest you start learning french on the basis of interview questions. dont rely on A1, A2 materials... with very basic level of french knowledge you still can crack interview if you only prepare yourself for interview questions

Can anyone tell me how much time i have between now and my medicals? I have applied for the federal part with the CSQ on March 09,2012 and sent all my documents to CIO Nova Scotia. Is requehst for medicals sent when the file is transferred to NDVO or does it arise when NDVO receives my file.
Thanks for starting this thread,

Can anyone tell me how much time i have between now and my medicals? Usually it takes about 3-6 months after Federal AOR to get med request. NDVO is the only VO which asks for Med test n submission of original passport and RPRF much in advance before issuing the visa.
in my case they received my federal file on 20th june and sent me AOR which was dated 24th June, so I completed my med n sent my original PP n RPRF fee but since then I havent rcvd my PP back....

So pretty much when your federal file is received at the VO, the VO sends you a med request. Thanks for that.

Saeid,

I can see from ur profile, that u had an interview. This was not the interview for CSQ was it, since this was post the federal application date ? If not what did they ask you. Is this common.....cause i dont know anyone who had been called for an interview.

thanks,

Hi all,
I have come across something weird.

My lawyer has sent multiple emails to NDVO but they are not replying to his queries to return my passport.

I asked him to send me scan copy of the communications and I realized the email address he has mentioned is DELHI-IMMIGRATION  @  interntional.gc.ca , when I visited CIC and CHC-ND website I realised that the correct email address is delhi-im-enquiry  @  international.gc.ca .
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/offices-bureaux/new_delhi.aspx?view=d
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/missions/new-delhi.asp

I further searched in google to find out whether I can find DELHI-IMMIGRATION  @  interntional.gc.ca in any website and I found it only in http://www.migrationexpert.ca/visa/canadian-embassy/india which is not the official website.

I assume DELHI-IMMIGRATION  @  interntional.gc.ca is CHC-New Delhi's old email address which my lawyer used and thats the reason why CHC is not responding.

I request you to help me clear my doubt.
Thank you all

One question i had was: Is there anybody on this forum who obtained CSQ from a particular country and them submitted to a different country for federal processing. I obtained CSQ from Buffalo office and have now submitted the application to the New Delhi consulate. The CIC website of course says this is ok, but wanted to see if there were any similar applicants and if they had to deal with any issues.
