You might be going through security check now and the various agencies contacted haven't responded to CHC queries. Please hang in there mate.

Please can someone give an example of agencies contacted for security checks?. It delays the process for nothing.  For those who get visa between 6 to 10 months how do they conduct their security checks within a short space of time?

Thanks.

Only if there's a 'red-flag' they'd touchbase with [some] external agencies [incl. your local PS -- God forbid, that's a killer!]. And for some CSIS, NASC, Interpol verifications also might be resorted too -- but, they aren't for everyone. -- Thus the scenario of faster cases, they weren't running any 'red-flags' !!!

Nonetheless, the usual timeframe to return PPR [post Meds] is 3-5 months... some go till 7 months too. Anything later - is a 'red-flag' case. Hope yours is not - 'coz, u aren't that late yet.
