One of my friends got his CAIPS and this is the last part of his CAIPS.
He has not yet been notified about the date and place of the interview.
OFFICER IS SATISFIED THAT REASONABLE GROUNDS EXIST TO REFER TO IVQ.

What does it mean by IVQ on 09-O5-2O11 ?? Does it mean CHC will issue a letter for him that will notify him about the date and place of the Interview or what.

IVQ seems to be a verb; something like BF'd.
is there any decoder for words used in CAIPS?

I think, PA = Principal applicant to be invited for interviewing and questioning on the 9th of May, 2011
my 2 cents: It could be "Interviewing and Questioning". Officer is satisfied that reasonable grounds exists for interviewing and questioning - would make sense. |

If the Interview date is decided already then why didnt the VO inform him at the 1st letter where the VO only wrote the applicant that the applicant was on their interview list and time date would be notified later. very strange.

I think PA is the store place for files.The BF`D is to bring and open the file on 09-05-2011.

Who can Say exactly what does IVQ on 09-O5-2O11 mean? Theres gotta be something happening on that date, but whats that. my guess is that applicant's file will be reopened on 09-O5-2O11 to see if the designated Interview arranging office could facilitate the interview requested by CHC Singapore. The applicant is in Bangladesh. Canada does have a full fledged visa office there.

In my opinion, i guess LMP is the visa officer who will make the decision on the IVQ which means Interview request letter. Only my guess. |

my friend has received the letter that he is on CIC's Interview list but he is yet to get the notification of the date of the Interview. I believe that LMP is the Visa officer and IVQ could be the questionnaires those will be asked to the applicant during his interview. However, this is for sure, his file will be BF'd on 9th May 2011. Something will happen on that day.

it looks like none of u gone through interview process...i'm really happy for that and wish none of u will face it either...
IVQ means Interview Queue and IVQ on 09-05-11 means on or before that day VO will decide about date and place for interview and PA will be informed accordingly...
jnathan if ur friend still did not request VO to inform his/er interview schedule through e-mail then ask him/her to dio it ASAP otherwise VO most likely inform him/her by snail mail...if he got it through e-mail it'll save his time and will get enough time for preparation..

more time after IN PROCESS means an interview is looming.
actually the fact is, CHC Singapore will not carry on the Interview for my friend, rather it would be done by CHC in Dhaka. so the schedule is largely depending on the green signal of CHC Dhaka. I guess, a letter will be opened by the VO on 09-05-11 to see if CHC Dhaka had been convinced to carry on the interview as requested by the VO in Singapore.
According to my friend, Snail mail reaches in a week in Dhaka after its dispatched from CHC Singapore. So time will be a big issue but thanks a lot for pulling this issue up. youre a sweet heart.
