i have 5.5 in ielts eligible in both fsw1 and fsw3 already send docs. to buffalo do i need to retake ielts or wait for visa office response i have 6 in reading n lis. 5.5 in w n 4.5 in s

Hi deepi,

Since you have already sent the documents to visa office now it depends on the visa officer if he doubt your english skills and wants you to re-sit IETLS. Looking at the past few months we have seen applicants who scored in IELTS similar to your scores were asked to resit IETLS, so my suggestion would be to re-sit IELTS now in this way you will have another chance ( if you didnt do well ) when and if visa officer ask you in the future. Because whenever visa officer will ask you for the IELTS he/she will give you about 60 days time to respond back and in that time you would only be able to do IETLS once, so better do one now and have option for another one if needed.

Generally speaking - that score is not a good avg. Apply for the IELTS again & await further instructions from CIO, now that your apps is with them already.
