 Hi...
My COnsultant mistakenly put my surname in the given name field and my first name in the family name field on all the application forms. and on my passport it is opposite ( you know wat i mean)
I M may applicant.
just suggest me how i must deal with it.u want me to leave it like this or tell them about it.i m so tense.can u please reply..

I am not a senior, but form alot of info I have read here on the forum,  I can suggest,  you immediately write to CIC and mentioned them the error. I am sure they can verifity it against your passport and other Docs, I think they can understand that it is simply an innoccent mistake.

Seniors please correct me if I am wrong.

 Thanks For Your reply but my case is still in CIO and i have not received AOR... But hopefully in couple of days...
what i got from your reply is i must mention in the cover letter about it, and they can understand and confirm through my passport and other documents... isnt?? :s

Member Humsafar advised u correctly - but to be done @ the CHC level. As of now, sit tight.

To your question as to "how to deal with it"? My answer would be to "get rid of that consultant immediately". He's a mockery of the consultancy; & if he couldn't understand such a basic issue (repeated it too), he's likely to mar your chances @ PR later.
